SEE INSIDE: Bruce Willis’ Beautiful Former Home Sells for $41.3 Million

Bruce Willis‘ gorgeous former home has sold for $41.3 million, Realtor.com reported on April 14. The beautiful Mediterranean style estate is located in the ritzy Benedict Canyon neighborhood in the Beverly Hills Post Office area of Los Angeles. It is the house where Willis lived with with his wife Emma Heming in the first years of their marriage. The outlet indicates the transaction was an off-market deal, and an adjacent home is still available. In the post, Bidwell described his excitement at closing the deal, writing, “Feeling insanely grateful to have gotten to sell such an incredible home. Reimagined in 2015 by some of the best minds in architecture and design, this is one of the most intentional properties in Los Angeles.”

He added that the deal involved “a lot of creativity, and fun encounters throughout.”

Bruce Willis Sold His Benedict Canyon Home Over a Decade Ago

The inside of the property looked very different when it was being advertised by Hilton & Hyland back in 2014. The Daily Mail reported on August 19 of that year that the house had sold for $16 million after over a year on the market.

The home, which the report describes as a Spanish-style “gated hacienda,” was originally listed by the “Die Hard” star for $22 million, but he later lowered it.

Willis paid around $9 million for the property in 2004, the report says, going on to detail that he bought it from producer Alan Ladd Jr and lived there with his wife Emma until he offloaded it. The report also says the actor raised the price due to the extensive improvements he carried out, and that the Willis family relocated to a luxury condo in New York City after the moving out.

The Luxurious Features of Bruce Willis’ Recently Sold Former Home

Realtor.com says the property is 10,300 square feet and features “modern, fresh elements” that were added after the 71-year-old sold it 12 years ago. The description adds that the large windows “flood the living spaces with sunlight and offer beautiful views of the elegantly landscaped gardens.”

The historic house retains its original fireplaces and exposed beams, the report says. It also reveals the primary suite features a private terrace, large soaking tub, walk-in shower, and two walk-in closets.

Outside, there’s a courtyard that features an “enormous” stone firepit, says the story. Other highlighted features include a wine storage room, a swimming pool, and lots of trees for privacy.
