Steve Harvey is moving on and moving up. The “Family Feud” host has decided to sell his massive mansion in Georgia after buying an even more impressive home.
“Harvey, 69, was born in West Virginia but has been based outside of Atlanta for many years now, filming his popular ‘Family Feud’ series at a studio in Fayetteville, which is about an hour away from his listed Sandy Springs home,” according to Realtor.com.
As for the property he’s decided to pass on to a new owner, “[t]he popular TV host purchased the six-bedroom manse for $3.38 million in 2010, and it remained his primary residence for around a decade, before he upgraded to an even larger estate that he purchased from fellow Hollywood superstar Tyler Perry for $15 million in 2020,” Realtor.com explains.
Six years after picking up his new home, “Harvey put his former Georgia residence on the market, with records showing that it was first listed on Jan. 12 of this year” for $5.1 million, Realtor.com notes. “Now, just four months later, he has cut his ask by $350,000, bringing the price down to $4.75 million.”
Steve Harvey’s Mansion Is Over 17,000 Square Feet of Luxury
Due to Harvey’s show business success and snazzy sense of style, it shouldn’t surprise you to find out that the home he’s selling is “[a] European-Inspired Architectural Masterpiece,” as the listing notes. Found “in Sandy Springs set atop a private, elevated setting overlooking the Chattahoochee River, this exceptional estate embodies refined European elegance, architectural excellence, and inspired artistry.”
“Encompassing over 17,000 square feet, the residence offers a grand yet intimate living experience defined by timeless sophistication and comfort,” the listing tells potential buyers. “Evoking the ambiance of a secluded European retreat, the home seamlessly blends luxury, nature, and craftsmanship.”
When visitors arrive at the estate, they’ll find a “stately facade, dramatic architectural lines, and sweeping sightlines” that “create a striking first impression,” the listing explains.
Once inside, the listing mentions that residents will find that “[t]he thoughtfully designed layout features six expansive bedrooms, six full baths, and two half baths, all appointed with refined materials and meticulous detail.”
“A private elevator provides seamless access to every level. Interiors balance classic European influence with modern refinement,” per the listing. “Parisian salon-inspired elements-elegant moldings, layered textures, and curated finishes-create an atmosphere of understated luxury, offering both gracious entertaining spaces and intimate retreats.”
The listing also points out the “[e]xceptional amenities” that “elevate the lifestyle experience, including a grand ballroom-style entertaining level, private theater, temperature-controlled wine cellar, fitness studio, and spa-inspired steam room-ideal for both daily living and large-scale gatherings.”
Outside of the Home Is Just as Impressive
Of course, the outside of Harvey’s Sandy Springs mansion boasts the kind of perks you might expect from such an impressive estate. Indeed, the listing notes that “[e]xpansive living areas” inside the home “open to terraces and balconies overlooking the surrounding landscape.”
The new owners will get to appreciate the fact that, as the listing explains, “[a]n infinity-edge water feature anchors the outdoor experience, complemented by lush landscaping, classical stonework, and sculptural details that create a serene, resort-like atmosphere.”
“Every element reflects intentional design, from bespoke millwork and curated lighting to a refined palette of stone, wood, and metal,” per the listing. “The result is a residence that feels both impressive and deeply personal. More than a home, this is a legacy estate-an architectural achievement designed for those who value beauty, craftsmanship, and the art of living well.”
