Country Singer Cancels Tour After Devastating Crash Leaves Him With Broken Back and Neck

Country singer JD Graham is focusing on recovery after a devastating car accident left him with multiple serious injuries and forced him to cancel his upcoming tour.

The musician had planned an ambitious year of performances across the United States and Europe in 2026, along with the release of new music.

Graham shared his own update with fans, explaining that the accident had dramatically altered his immediate plans.

Graham Cancels His Tour

On Thursday, March 5, he confirmed that his scheduled performances would no longer move forward.

“The entire European tour is canceled and all American dates are canceled through May at which time I will reassess what I am able to do,” he announced.

Despite the setback, Graham said he hopes to return to the stage eventually but emphasized that his recovery must come first.

“I have to take this day by day and I’m not sure yet what that looks like,” he wrote. “I ask for your patience as I don’t know where this goes at this point.”

The country artist also reflected on the emotional impact of the crash, expressing deep gratitude for the support he has received since the accident.

“I am so grateful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for bringing me through this accident,” he said. “I am overwhelmed by the generosity and outpouring of support from so many people.”

Although he has since been released from the hospital, Graham acknowledged that the road ahead will be long.

“I am out of the hospital and have an extremely long recovery,” he explained. “I’m honestly not sure if or when I can get back to touring and connecting with you lovely folks as my future looks so different.”

Graham Released New Music

The experience has also led him to reflect on the importance of loved ones.

In his message, Graham encouraged fans to appreciate the people closest to them.

“Hug your friends and family,” he wrote. “I truly love all of you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me through this.”

While his tour is on hold, Graham still chose to share new music with fans. Rather than delaying its release, he moved forward with his latest album, “Uppers & Downers.”

“I didn’t want it just sitting in a Dropbox folder,” he said. “Please give it a listen and share with your friends.”

A GoFundMe Was Created

Fans have also rallied around the singer during his recovery.

A GoFundMe created to help with medical costs has already raised nearly $70,000, a gesture Graham said means the world to him.

The GoFundMe was started by his daughter Destiny.

On Feb. 24, Graham was involving in a serious accident on the highway.

In a message shared by his family shortly after the accident, Graham’s daughter revealed the extent of his injuries and the severity of the crash.

“He was hit by one semi and then slammed into another. The crash was severe, and first responders had to cut him out of his vehicle,” his daughter shared.

She added, “He has a broken neck, a broken back, and several broken ribs, and he will be unable to walk for some time. Watching someone so strong go through something like this has been incredibly hard for all of us.”

On Thursday, March 6,, Graham provided and update where he thanked everyone. “From the bottom of my heart,” he wrote, “thank you for being there for me.”
