Decker shared a video to her Instagram page that gives her fans a snapshot of what the devastating storm has done to her home in Nashville, Tennessee.
Throughout the video, you can see how much snow has fallen in the area while large tree branches continue to fall all around her, damaging her neighbors houses and vehicles. Decker adds commentary to the scenes, saying, “I’ve never seen anything like this. Trees are just falling everywhere. It’s like crack, crack, crack.”

In the caption that accompanies the post, Decker was quick to point out that she had never experienced this sort of storm damage despite living in the area for almost two decades.
“I’ve lived here since 2007, and I’ve never seen anything like this,” she explained. “And this is just clips I took from our home, I know it’s even worse out there.”
She then took the time to express her gratitude to all of those who are helping keep the area safe. Decker wrote, “To all the line workers and first responders thank you. We can’t even imagine what you’re going through or how tirelessly you’re working to help our community.”

Last year, Decker revealed that she was set to make an exciting career move as she moved from music and reality television into acting.
Speaking on Instagram, Decker revealed that she would star in “The Christmas Ring.” Based on Karen Kingsbury’s novel of the same name, the film also stars Jana Kramer, Kelsey Grammer, and Ben Hollingsworth.
In her Instagram post, Decker wrote, “I am so excited to be in the new Karen Kingsbury movie The Christmas Ring alongside one of my best friends @kramergirl and new friend @debbie.winans!”
