The emotions were at a high level tonight on โDancing With the Starsโ season 34, as the โDWTSโ 2025 couples paid tribute to the influential people in their lives with moving and meaningful performances for Dedication Night. Gold-medal winning gymnast Jordan Chiles dedicated her performance with her pro partner, Ezra Sosa, to her father tonight on โDancing With the Starsโ 2025.

Week 5 Performance on โDancing With the Starsโ Season 34
For this performance, they are performing a Viennese Waltz to โDaughtersโ by John Mayer, dedicated to her father, Timothy. Her dad is the one who decided to put her in gymnastics. Ezra didn’t have a father figure growing up, so Timothy is doing that for Ezra with this performance on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34.
I mean, how cute to see her dad watch her perform for this one? He loves her so much, and it shows in this performance. It was a very good performance, and the emotions were coming out. Here and her father actually danced solo together for quite some time, too.
The “Dancing With the Stars” judges gave them a 32 out of 40 for the score. Carrie Ann said she is blossoming into something spectacular. Derek said watching them dance made him excited to have his own moment with his own child. There was a tenderness, and it was simple. Kym said it doesn’t get much better than a father-daughter dance, and she is a beautiful dancer. Bruno said elegance, style, and pose. She gets better and better; her musicality improves every week.
One of My Early Favorites
To be honest, I thought Jordan and Ezra would be one of the early favorites this season, as I predicted before the season started. However, they definitely started the season a little slow and have been flying under the radar in the first few weeks.
During the premiere, the couple performed a Salsa to โBREAK MY SOULโ BY Beyoncรฉ. They, shockingly, only got a 10 out of 20 from the judges. Not the strong start I was expecting.
However, things have been improving ever since. During week 2 on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34, they performed a Jive to โManiacโ by Michael Sembello for One-Hit Wonders Night. Much better scores, as they got 22 out of 30 from the judges after this performance.
Then, for week 3, Jordan & Ezra performed a Tango to โAnxietyโ by Doechii for TikTok Night. This one seemed to wow the โDancing With the Starsโ judges, as she ended up with a 24 out of 30 to move up that leaderboard.
Last week on โDancing With the Starsโ season 34, it was Disney Night, and Jordan channeled Tiana while performing a Quickstep to โSpecial Spiceโ from โTianaโs Bayou Adventure.โ Another stellar performance, and the couple ended up tied for second on the night.
