One ‘DWTS’ Cast Member Just Went Viral for an Unexpected Talent

The ballroom isn’t the only place where this season’s “Dancing With the Stars” contestants are showing off unexpected skills. One celebrity competitor just went viral after a playful TikTok challenge with their partner turned into a jaw-dropping display of speed that left fans and their pro partner stunned.

“DWTS” fans know that Jordan Chiles is a renowned gymnast and two-time Olympian, but no one knew she had some amazing track skills, including her professional dance partner, Ezra Sosa.

Chiles did help secure a silver medal for Team USA at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and then played a key role in leading Team USA to a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, it looks like the 24-year-old Olympian also has a hidden talent: running.

Clearly, Chiles has some natural athleticism, but nobody was expecting her to run so fast. In the video, Sosa can be seen challenging his celebrity dance partner to a footrace, but he gives her a five-second head start.

While many of the TikTok videos show the man catching up to the woman, Sosa had no chance in this video. Chiles takes off with a burst of speed, and after those five seconds, she is almost at the finish line.

Sosa captioned the video, “She’s ZOOMIN’ dude 😎.”

Fans React to Viral ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Video

The video quickly gained views and comments from “Dancing With the Stars” fans.

One fan wrote, “Have you seen her run to the vault?!?!?!? You didn’t stand a chance 🤣,” while another person commented, “She was already into next week before you put that right foot down. 🤣🤣🤣”

The praise for Chiles continued, as another user wrote, “Uhhh gymnast or track star?” This fan wrote, “This is no surprise have u not seen this queen tumble,” and another said, “Ohhh she was gone!😅😅😅”

While everyone enjoyed the video, many of the fans wanted to see things flipped around. One person wrote, “Okay now switch. I want to see how long it takes for her to catch you lol.”

Others were hoping Ezra would do the same TikTok challenge with Dylan Efron. It isn’t posted yet, but maybe we’ll see a video soon enough of Ezra getting that five-second head start and Jordan catching him before he makes it to the end, or Dylan joining in the fun.

Until then, you can watch this pairing and all this season’s couples when “Dancing With the Stars” season 34 premieres on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET, with new episodes streaming the next day on Hulu.
