“Dancing With the Stars” season 34 kicks off tonight, and the ballroom is already buzzing with excitement. The new cast promises plenty of sparkle, surprises, and stiff competition as fans gear up to cheer for their favorites.
Before the first dance is even scored, we’re taking a look at the lineup and making early predictions on which celebs could dazzle the judges, capture the audience, and emerge as contenders for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
The Season 34 Standouts
It’s early, I know. We haven’t even seen any of these new couples take the dance floor yet. However, there are always some early couples that stand out as possible winners of “Dancing With the Stars.”
For season 34, that is definitely the case. The season will start with 14 couples, and there are definitely some standouts early on.
On “DWTS,” athletes usually do well, so you have Olympian Jordan Chiles, who is partnered with Ezra Sosa, and former NBA star Baron Davis, who is partnered with Britt Stewart.
We also know pop stars have done well on the show, so we have Scott Hoying from Pentatonix, who is partnered with Rylee Arnold, and Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony, who is partnered with Brandon Armstrong.
“Dancing With the Stars” fans will also get to see some other reality TV stars take the dance floor by storm. We have Whitney Leavitt (partners with Mark Ballas) and Jen Affleck (partnered with Jan Ravnik) from the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” Viewers will also get the chance to see Dylan Efron from “Traitors” partnered with Daniella Karagach.
Rounding out some of the early favorites are Robert Irwin, son of “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, who is partnered with Witney Carson, social media star Alix Earle, who is partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy, and ‘90s TV superstar Danielle Fishel, who is partnered with Pasha Pashkov.
Who Will Be the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34 Champion?
While there are plenty of standouts this season on “Dancing With the Stars,” only one of them can be crowned the winner of “DWTS” 2025. Which couple will that be?
It’s early, but here are the four couples we think will make it to the finals of “Dancing With the Stars” season 34:
- Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa
- Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold
- Robert Irwin and Witney Carson
- Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov
Jordan is a gymnast, so she should be able to transfer those skills onto the dance floor. Scott has been showing off his dancing skills on social media. I think they’re going to do an amazing job this season. Danielle has to be a fan fave, so I think that and her personality will take her far this season.
Despite all of that, I think the early favorite to win it all this season has to be Robert and Witney. Carson won in her second season as a professional dancer, but has come close many other times. I think she is overdue for a win.
Robert is so likable, I think he is going to have everyone wanting to vote for him every week. He will keep the wins going for the Irwin family, also, as his sister, Bindi Irwin, won the show back in season 21 with partner Derek Hough.
