Lizzo Opened Up About Weight Loss & Continuing to Love Her Body
GettyLizzo’s attendance at the Vanity Fair party is just one of a string of appearances the star has made since losing weight.
“Stepping out after Hollywood’s biggest night of the year, Lizzo looked sensational in a sheer dress while parading her new slender figure after overhauling her lifestyle in recent years,” according to The Sun. “The Truth Hurts singer, 37, has lost around roughly 60 pounds and around 16% of her body fat over a two-year period. … Lizzo…showed off her slender curves in the sheer lace gown, which had a plunging neckline.”
“Her latest outing also comes as she’s been open about her weight loss journey—which began in 2023—and how she’s on a continued mission to speak positivity over her body,” per E!
“I am still a proud big girl. Objectively Big,” she wrote in a Substack post in November 2025. “Over 200 pounds. And I love myself as much as I’ve loved myself no matter what the scale says.”
“I have a lot of work to do to regain the trust of the movement that gave me wings,” she continued. “It is work I am willing and ready to do.”
