It’s the collaboration that everyone has been waiting for, as “Project Runway” Season 22 meets the “Dancing With the Stars” pro dancers tonight. For this next challenge on “Project Runway” 2026, the remaining designers will be creating performance-ready looks for some of our favorite “DWTS” dancers. The “Project Runway” judges — Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Law Roach, and Tyra Banks — will then decide who stays and who goes. The show has had many homes, from Bravo to Lifetime, but now it airs and streams on a few other networks. Who gets eliminated on “Project Runway” tonight? Designing With the Stars on ‘Project Runway
Last week on “Project Runway” Season 22, we had some familiar faces in the workroom: Season 21 designers. It was a battle of the seasons, as the Season 21 designers took on the Season 22 designers in an unconventional materials challenge. Things were left in the air as the episode ended with which House won the challenge.
If House of Season 21 wins, then a Season 22 designer goes home. If House of Season 22 wins, then everyone is safe. We find out tonight before Julianne Hough and the “DWTS” dancers take over the runway. Week 8 Begins
We go back to the Week 7 results. The winning House is Season 22, which means no one has been eliminated. For the winning look of the week, that goes to Bi. He gets $20,000 for the win!
New Challenge Begins
It’s time for a new week and a new challenge. Heidi and Christian are on the runway, as they are joined by Julianne Hough! Christian has business to attend to this week, so Julianne will serve as a guest mentor for the week.
For this new challenge, the designers will be creating fashion-forward looks inspired by dance styles. The designers have to dance on the runway and get scores from Heidi, Christian, and Julianne. Whoever scores the highest on the dance-off will get to choose their dance style for inspiration. They will also be paired with a “DWTS” pro. Here are the picks:
- Jeffrey – He chose Salsa and is partnered with Britt Stewart
- Naheim – He chose Jazz and is partnered with Brandon Armstrong
- Anna – She chose Samba and is partnered with Jenna Johnson
- Bryan – He chose Samba and is partnered with Emma Slater
- Bi – He chose Paso Doble and is partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy
- Joseph – He chose Jive and is partnered with Ezra Sosa
- Jude – He got the Quickstep and is partnered with Alan Bersten
This is a one-day challenge, and it will be a double elimination!
Getting to Work
The designers head to Mood to do some shopping. They are trying to come up with ideas for these looks.
Now, we are back in the workroom. Bryan is being dramatic, as he is still going on about the fight with Jeffrey. He says he feels all alone.
Julianne now comes into the workroom to see what the designers have been up to. Bryan seems to lose the mood, as he is dancing and having fun with Julianne. Then, the models come in, and Bi seems to be in love with his model, Val!
For Jeffrey, Britt thinks he might be playing it safe. Jude is working with Alan, and the pleat on his pants is amazing. Tailoring a male look is going to be a positive for Jude this week. Emma doesn’t think Bryan’s look is a good representation of the Waltz. Naheim is confident he won’t be one of the designers eliminated this week.
Runway Day
We aren’t messing around here, as it’s already runway day. The models come in, and the designers are trying to finish their looks. Jeffrey thinks Bryan’s look is just like his look from Week 4, which is kind of true.
Christian comes in, and this is the last week he can use his save. Will he save someone from elimination tonight? The time runs out, and the models head to the runway.
We are on the runway. The judges for this week are Heidi, Law Roach, Nina Garcia, and guest judge Niecy Nash-Betts. The models his the dance floor. The judges definitely had mixed reviews. Two of the designers will be out, so the pressure is on!
Results on ‘Project Runway’ Season 22
The designers are back on the runway. The favorite looks of the week come from Jude and Anna. Bi was not at the top, but he is safe this week and makes the Top 5. That means Joseph, Jeffrey, Naheim, and Bryan have the least favorite looks of the night. Two of them will be eliminated.
For the top looks, the judges discuss Anna’s and Jude’s looks. They have a moment with Alan and his abs. The judges enjoyed both of the looks, but the winner is Jude! They are both in the Top 5, though. This is Jude’s third win of the season.
Least Favorite Looks
Now, the least favorite designers are back on the runway. Feedback from the judges:
- Naheim – Law said he doesn’t understand the pleats in the front. He doesn’t understand a lot of it. Nina said it has to look well-made, and this doesn’t. Heidi said she likes this look and she thinks it’s genius.
- Bryan – Heidi said she is being swallowed up in this dress. Neicy said it’s so many things at once on a petite frame. Law said the dress looks like a gender reveal, and it’s too much.
- Joseph – Law said he doesn’t think he’s here to win the show. He’s here to sell the clothes he already makes. There has been no evolution. For the look, the pants, he isn’t going to dance the jive, but go see the Wizard. Neicy says she loves the look. Heidi said she is with the guest judge this week and loves the look. He looks like a pop star.
- Jeffrey – Neicy said she thought it was cute. Nina said she is the dancing emoji. It’s way too literal. Heidi said she looks like a spot-on salsa dancer. It’s not fashion-forward. Law said the construction is perfect, but it’s tacky.
