Jennifer Garner continues to be an absolute gift of a human being as she brings us her latest adorable “Pretend Cooking Show.”
The beloved 53-year-old actress, who recently revealed her garden’s Christmas decorations (complete with a dinosaur), is known for being adorable online, and her past “Pretend Cooking Show” posts have seen her showing her followers how to make things like chicken enchiladas, bisquetes, homemade ice cream, and treats for dogs and cats.
On this occasion, however, the star of movies like 2005’s superhero offering “Elektra” and 2007’s coming-of-age comedy-drama “Juno” made something with this year’s Thanksgiving in mind (it’s on Thursday, November 27, guys!).
Jennifer Garner Calls This Recipe ‘EASY’ and ‘Yum’
Jennifer Garner took to her Instagram account to tell her 17.2 million followers how to make a delicious roasted fennel and farro salad as an accompaniment for the Thanksgiving dinner table.
In a highly informative 163-second video, Garner explains the step-by-step approach to making the salad, which includes using a handy KitchenAid grain and rice cooker to cook the farro.
Garner is as affable, lovely, and quirky as ever and, of course, the detailed instructions about how to make this tasty Thanksgiving accompaniment can be found in the video’s caption.
In a nutshell, the ingredients need preparing, and they include fennel bulbs, farro, yellow and orange bell peppers, and pomegranate seeds. The oven needs preheating to 400° F. The farro needs toasting, then cooking in the grain and rice cooker. Then the vegetables need cooking and adding.
It really couldn’t be easier (the caption literally describes it as “EASY”) and the fifth “instruction” in the step-by-step guide consists of one word: “Yum.”
Garner’s Fans Love It — ‘Definitely Making That!’
GettyJennifer Garner’s fans and followers, who are always receptive to her “Pretend Cooking Show” posts, loved the salad recipe and told her so in no uncertain terms in the comments.
