Ree Drummond Reveals Dancing Background After Busting Some Moves on Instagram

Celebrity TV chef Ree Drummond revealed a special talent on her Facebook in response to her take on a viral TikTok dance that left fans cheering, “Go Ree!”

Drummond, host of “The Pioneer Woman,” previously shared a video on her Instagram story showing off a dance routine to a Taylor Swift song, according to The Pioneer Woman.

“I can’t dance,” she wrote. “I practiced so hard tho.”

Drummond was joined by her daughter Paige’s best friend Anna, dancing to Swift’s song, “Opalite,” from her latest album The Life of a Showgirl. The celebrity chef was dancing around, pointing out her wine, diet Dr Pepper and lip balm on the table in front of her in the video’s caption.

The dancing continued into a second post on the chef’s Instagram story, where she wrote “Go to bed, Ree” in the caption.

Drummond responded to her dancing videos in a post on Facebook on November 5.

“I’m just sharing this for fun, and to clarify that when I wrote ‘I can’t dance’ on the video in this post, I meant ‘I can’t dance like the cool kids,'” she wrote.

“I was trained in ballet and could hold my own in that realm, but it has never translated to being able to, like, dance,” she continued.

Fans were quick to applaud The Pioneer Woman in the comments on Facebook.

“Go Ree! Too funny, looks like you were having a blast. Love it,” one user said.

“You ‘got the moves!’” said another.

“Channeling your inner John Travolta dance move from Saturday Night Fever,” another viewer joked in the comments.

Ree Drummond Takes on Book Tour With Pit Stop in NYC

The dancing videos were posted while Drummond takes on a 10-city tour to celebrate the release of her new cookbook, “The Essential Recipes.”

The cookbook is “filled to the brim with my weeknight lifesavers, my Sunday staples, and all the dishes that keep the kids coming back home,” Drummond said, per The Pioneer Woman website.

Drummond’s book tour kicked off on October 27 in New Jersey, with plans to stop in Illinois, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, and Colorado, making multiple stops in Oklahoma and Missouri.

Drummond took a pitstop in New York City with her mom (Gerre Schwert), sister, daughter and granddaughter to celebrate her mother’s 84th birthday.

“Our trip to NYC this week put all her awesomeness on full, sparkly display. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,” Drummond said in a post on Instagram about her mother’s birthday celebrations. The post included videos of more dancing and the girls walking around the streets of New York.
