Ree Drummond, television chef and host of “The Pioneer Woman” (TPW), recently shared photos of a reunion with her granddaughter.
Drummond, 56, shared photos of her grandma “Ree-Ree” duties, joining her granddaughter, Sofia, on walks around the ranch.

GettyDrummond shared a photo on Facebook crouched down beside her granddaughter Sofia’s stroller. The duo were both seen dressed in blue as they checked out the ranch.
“My little peanut pookie princess,” Drummond wrote in the caption. “She loves her walks!!”
Fans in the comments were quick to comment on the pair’s resemblance.
“Precious….. she looks like Ree!” one Facebook user wrote.
“Grandma’s mini me,” said another.
“Looks just like her ReeRee,” another user said.
Drummond posted a few other pictures of the outing on her Instagram story, according to TPW. In one post, she wrote that Sofia made her go on three walks in a day.
“I couldn’t get up,” she captioned one picture of her smiling beside the stroller. “I’m laughing on the outside but I was actually concerned.”
Drummond’s daughter Alex shared photos on Instagram showing she was back in Oklahoma visiting her childhood home. In one post, she shared a video of her daughter Sofia in a stroller, taking in the ranch as three horses came up to greet her.
“There was an unusual guest on this even’s walk so the ranch horses had to come investigate,” Alex wrote in the caption of the video.
Alex also shared a photo on October 16 on her Instagram story of her 23-year-old brother, Bryce, holding Sofia, who had a book in hand.
Alex welcomed her daughter on December 18, 2024, writing in a post on Instagram, “At 2:27am our perfect girl made her arrival a couple weeks early, just in time for Christmas!”
Alex Drummond Scott Travels Back to the Ranch From Dallas
Alex revealed that Sofia’s trip to the ranch was the baby’s third-ever flight.
“Sofia did great,” Alex told her followers, per TPW. “She got lots of compliments from strangers on how good she was. Granted, it is only a 45-minute flight, but nonetheless, we are thankful and well!”
Alex grew up in Oklahoma but moved to Dallas, Texas, in 2021, according to TPW. In March, she detailed what it was like adjusting to motherhood away from her family in a Q&A session on Instagram.
“It’s definitely been a little hard,” she said, per TPW. “But we have honestly seen them a ton in these first couple of months.”
“They came down for Sofia’s birth and then my mom stayed for awhile while I got through my 2nd hospitalization, and then she’s been here 3 or 4 times since then!”
Alex was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia during her second hospital stay after Sofia’s birth, per Parade.
Alex said in March that they had been to the ranch twice previously with Sofia, adding, “The drive back and forth from Dallas to the ranch really isn’t bad.”
