The three remaining home cooks on “MasterChef” 2026 will kick off the two-night “MasterChef” Season 16 finale tonight on FOX. The home cooks will be tasked with creating a three-course meal for the judges — Gordon Ramsay, Tiffany Derry, and Joe Bastianich — in front of a galley filled with friends and family. Two-Part ‘MasterChef’ Season 16 Finale

We made it to the Finale on “MasterChef: Global Gauntlet,” with the remaining home cooks representing two of the four territories (Africa and the Americas) this season. The fight to be named the winner of “MasterChef” Season 16 continued tonight.

Last week, the home cooks had to keep up with not only Gordon Ramsay, but also Chef Tiffany! It was back-to-back challenges, with one home cook being eliminated after each challenge. In the end, Basia and Julia were eliminated from the competition. That left Jake from Team Americas and Peter and Heidi from Team Africa to compete in the finale. Finale Part 1 Begins

The judges are in place as they come out to a very excited “MasterChef” Kitchen. Family, friends, and eliminated home cooks are in attendance. We then take a look back at some highlights from this season. We will provide updates as tonight’s episode airs, so keep refreshing this page for the latest results.

8:12 p.m. – The Top 3 arrive in the kitchen. We take a look back at their time on the show. For the final challenge, the home cooks will create a three-course meal (appetizer, entree, and dessert) that is inspired by their roots and their journey on this show. They start with the appetizer, having 60 minutes to create their dish.

8:25 p.m. – The home cooks are working on their dishes. We are under 10 minutes to go, and Jake seems to have a ton of stuff left to do. Heidi may have started cooking her fish too soon.

8:36 p.m. – The time runs out. The judges are now tasting the dishes. Peter was first and got rave reviews. Heidi is up next, but the cook on the fish is a concern.

8:45 p.m. – The cook on the fish was great for Heidi, but the judges felt the salad took over the fish. Jake got rave reviews for his dish. Now, we are moving on to the entrees, with the home cooks having 60 minutes to create these dishes.

8:57 p.m. – Jake, per usual, is taking on too much for his dish. Peter is struggling with the cook on his filet. We are down to 15 minutes.


The Night Comes to an End

9:02 p.m. – We wrap up Night 1 of the “MasterChef” finale. Peter is struggling with the cook on his filet. We are under 15 minutes to go, and Jake has a ton to do also. Next week, the home cooks wrap up the entrees and then move on to desserts. Then, the winner of “MasterChef: Global Gauntlet” is crowned.
