The family-run business entered the Food Network competition hoping its unique take on one of New Orleans’ most famous foods could carry it to victory. Stuph’d survived weeks of challenges, sales battles, and eliminations on “The Great Food Truck Race” 2026, and now they have a chance to leave the race with the title and $50,000 grand prize. Three Generations Competing Together
Stuph’d Beignets & Burgers has three generations of one family competing together. They came into “The Great Food Truck Race” representing New Orleans, Louisiana.
Duana Lawrence is joined by her daughter, Dionne Lewis, and her father, Sherman Clarke. Since opening in 2016, they have been putting their own spin on a New Orleans classic.
Stuph’d doesn’t stick to just the traditional powdered sugar-covered beignet that locals and tourists know so well. Instead, they’ve built their business around stuffed creations featuring both sweet and savory flavors.
This season started as a battle between four sweet trucks and four savory. Stuph’d found themselves in between teams, but officially part of the sweet side of the competition. However, their menu allowed the team to play with flavors that crossed the line between both categories.
The goal was to show there is more than one way to serve a beignet, even when competing far away from the food’s famous New Orleans home.
Great Tastes From Stuph’d Beignets & Burgers During Season 19
“The Great Food Truck Race” Season 19 kicked off in Nashville with eight teams fighting for that $50,000 prize. Host Tyler Florence then took the competitors through Tennessee and into Kentucky, with the teams facing new locations, crowds, and challenges along the way.
During the season, Tyler gives the trucks a taste challenge to complete. He picks a winning dish, which got $300 added to their till. In the six challenges this season, Stuph’d won three of them, so they definitely are bringing the good tastes.
This season, we also saw a new twist with eliminations. Instead of automatically eliminating the team with the lowest sales every week, the two trucks with the lowest sales would fight it out in a Taste Redemption Challenge. One team would stay, and one team would have to turn over their keys.
Stuph’d managed to stay out of the bottom two all season until last week, but clearly they were victorious in that battle. Now we are wondering: Did Stuph’d Beignets & Burgers finish the journey with a $50,000 victory?
