Tilly Ramsay has celebrated her recent incredible athletic achievement with her Instagram followers.
Along with her famous father, Gordon, and her mother, Tana, Tilly, 23, completed the intense Ironman Greece course on Sunday, October 26.
The event, in Costa Navarino, Peloponnese, begins with a 1.9 km (1.2 miles) swim, starting just in front of the pristine sandy beach of Costa Navarino. Then, it transitions to a 90 km (56 miles) bike ride through olive groves, rolling hills, and pine forests with panoramic views of the stunning Ionian Sea. Finally, a 21.1 km (13.1 miles) run through quaint villages, beautiful lagoons, and a wildlife sanctuary ends at the beachfront finish line.
Chef and restaurateur Gordon had already shared the news on his Instagram account, having done so not long after he finished the course, but Tilly has now taken to the popular social media platform to have her say about her amazing accomplishment.
Tilly Ramsay Recalls ‘Unforgettable’ Ironman Experience
Tilly Ramsay’s post consisted of a video of her crossing the Ironman Greece finish line and a reel of photographs from the day. The photographs included several with her mother and father in them.
The post was accompanied by a long caption which began with Tilly saying, “I DID IT!! My first Ironman 70.3!! 🏊♀️🚴♀️🏃🏼♀️”
She then described how crossing the finish line was an “unforgettable moment,” describing the “pure joy” and “happy tears” she experienced as she did so.
Tilly then thanked her mother and father for inspiring her, training with her, and pushing her to complete the tough course.
Further thanks then went to her coach, the event organizers, and her boyfriend Henry Farrow, who Tilly described as “the best support through it all.”

Holly’s fiancé, British Olympic swimming gold medallist Adam Peaty, said, “Amazing Job @tillyramsay – inspiring me to get one under my belt 🙌🏼🙏🏼.”
Her coach, Chris Dominey, said, “What a debut 🔥 not a bad starting point 😉 You know what I think , simply amazing, absolute pleasure to watch it come together. Recover well ❤️.”
Internet personality Lily Davison had her say, writing, “So amazing and impressive !! Congrats Tilly 🥳🥰🥰🥰.”
