Natasha Bure gave her mother, Candace Cameron Bure, a unique role at her wedding.

The 27-year-old actress and singer married Disney Channel alum Bradley Steven Perry, 26, on Sept. 14 in Malibu, California, during a “romantic garden” ceremony attended by about 150 guests.

Candace Cameron’s Role in Daughter Natasha’s Malibu Wedding

In an exclusive with People, Natasha shared that she wanted to put her own spin on the wedding tradition of “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” She asked her mom, former Hallmark star Candace Cameron Bure, to be her “something blue” by wearing a blue gown on the big day.

“My mom is my something blue at my wedding which is so special,” Natasha told the outlet. “She means the absolute world to me, so having her honored in that way felt so right.”

Natasha revealed that she officially asked her mother to be her “something blue” during her first bridal appointment at Kinsley Couture Bridal in Walnut Creek, California, calling it, “the perfect kick off to the engagement season.”

The tradition of “something blue” symbolizes love, purity, and fidelity. For Natasha, making Candace a part of it highlighted her gratitude for her parents. “I get emotional just thinking about the two of them because I feel so lucky to have them as my parents. I truly couldn’t dream of more amazing humans to experience this all with,” she said.

Family Moments at Natasha Bure & Bradley Steven Perry’s Wedding

Beyond Natasha’s “something blue” tribute to her mother, other family members also played memorable roles in the Malibu ceremony.

Her father, former NHL player Valeri Bure, also played an important role, escorting his daughter down the aisle as “Mia & Sebastian’s Theme” from “La La Land” played. “Having my sweet father walk me down the aisle is a blessing I’ll carry with me forever,” Natasha shared.

Candace later congratulated the newlyweds on Instagram with a series of wedding photos. “We introduce to you Mr. And Mrs. Perry 🥂!!” she wrote, welcoming Bradley into the family. She added, “We couldn’t have asked for a kinder man than Bradley to love and care for our girl 🥹. Natasha, you are radiant inside and out and are already the best wife to your beloved. My heart swells with happiness for you two. We love you both so much. May God bless all the days of your lives together ❤️❤️❤️.”

Natasha and Bradley both responded in the comments. Perry wrote, “Love you thank you for everything 😭 the most perfect weekend!!!!” while Natasha added, “I love you!!! ❤️.”

The couple, who quietly got engaged in April in Santa Barbara, designed a wedding that reflected their style and family bonds. From Natasha’s decision to make her mom her “something blue” to having her father walk her down the aisle, the day centered around meaningful traditions and heartfelt moments.
