Fans of Hallmark’s “Reba” may want to check out season 2 of “Happy’s Place” as it begins airing. The series has made a habit of bringing in former “Reba” stars to make guest appearances on “Happy’s Place.” The NBC series stars both Reba McEntire and former “Reba” star Melissa Peterman, who played Barbra Jean.
Next up for that “Reba” to “Happy’s Place” crossover honor is JoAnna Garcia Swisher. Hallmark fans have seen Swisher in “Providence Falls” and “As Luck Would Have It.”
JoAnna Garcia Swisher Has a Guest Arc in Season 2 of ‘Happy’s Place’
On September 30, TV Insider shared that Swisher would join “Happy’s Place” for a guest arc in season 2. Her character is named Kenzie, and she is an influencer local to Happy’s Place. They hire her to manage a social media campaign, but not everybody is happy about the plan.
It turns out, the bar’s co-owner, Bobbie (played by McEntire), isn’t thrilled with Kenzie and the plan to have her manage the project.
Swisher joining “Happy’s Place” for a guest arc will be fun for fans of McEntire’s previous show, “Reba.” Swisher played Cheyenne Hart, who was the daughter of McEntire’s character.
She appeared in more than 100 episodes of the series, which ran on the WB and later the CW, when the network shifted names, between 2001 and 2007.
Fans & Colleagues Can’t Wait to Watch Swisher’s Guest Arc
Fans were thrilled to learn of Swisher’s upcoming “Happy’s Place” appearance. When NBC teased Swisher’s role on September 30 via Instagram, everybody went wild over the news. Fans and Hallmark stars made it clear they could hardly contain their excitement.
Lacey Chabert commented, “This is the best!! Love seeing you all together!” Chabert and Peterman recently starred together in “Haul Out the Halloween.”
Kimberly J. Brown, who also starred in Hallmark’s “Haul Out the Halloween,” commented, “Yaaaaay I’m so exciteeddddddd.”
A fan enthusiastically shared, “I COULD SCREAM!!!! OMG!! I’M SO EXCITED!!”
Another fan added, “This is awesome, I’m so happy to see you 3 together again. Can’t wait for Happy’s Place to come back on!”
Someone else noted, “So excited…I watch reruns of Reba everyday on the Hallmark Channel.”
In season 1 of “Happy’s Place,” two other familiar faces from “Reba” popped by for a visit. Christopher Rich, who played Brock Hart made a cameo appearance. In addition, Steve Howey, who portrayed Van Montgomery, had a cameo in season 1 as well.
It is not yet known when Swisher’s character will pop up in season 2 of “Happy’s Place,” or how long she will be around.
Season 2 of “Happy’s Place” premieres on November 7 on NBC.
