A giant cruise ship carrying 4,500 Hallmark Channel fans and 18 of the network’s biggest stars departed Miami on November 6, 2025, headed for a long weekend cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. But Hallmarkies who couldn’t make the trip aren’t the only ones suffering from FOMO (Fear of Missing Out).
Multiple stars have acknowledged their colleagues’ posts on the first day of the Hallmark Christmas Cruise, revealing how much they wish they could have joined the fun.
Hallmark Christmas Cruise Stars Posted Epic Selfie Before Setting Sail
Before guests boarded the ship, the stars gathered together for an epic selfie. Nikki DeLoach, who’s the cruise’s official co-host with Jonathan Bennett, posted the pic featuring their fellow cruisers Benjamin Ayres, Rachel Boston, B.J. Britt, Wes Brown, Erin Cahill, Paul Campbell, Sarah Drew, Heather Hemmens, Tyler Hynes, Ginna Claire Mason, Kevin McGarry, Brendan Penny, Kimberley Sustad, Taylor Cole, Andrew Walker, and Ashley Williams.
“A Grand Ole Opry Christmas” star Kristoffer Polaha was originally supposed to be on board, but had to change his plans due to the filming schedule for his new series with Jon Hamm and Giovanni Ribisi, “American Hostage.”
On DeLoach’s post, Polaha wrote, “Bon Voyage, lovelies! Have a blast, (but not too much fun without me.)⚓️😘”
Bennett’s “Finding Mr. Christmas” co-star Melissa Peterman, who’s in Los Angeles taping her NBC sitcom “Happy’s Place,” expressed her FOMO in the comments, writing, “So wish I could be there this year!!!!!! And yes don’t have too much fun without @polahaha and me!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Fan-favorite Michael Rady adorably pretended he was totally fine with missing out, commenting, “No fomo at all. None. Zero.”
Other stars who didn’t make the trip but “liked” the group selfie included Hunter King, Ryan McPartlin, Eliza Hayes Maher, Autumn Reeser, and Holland Roden.
Fans Express Mixed Emotions About Seeing the Hallmark Cruise Set Sail
HallmarkSince the 2025 cruise sold out quickly, thousands of fans who’d hoped to be on board will have to watch the fun from afar, through others’ social media posts and, potentially, another season of “Christmas At Sea.”
Fans expressed a range of emotions in their social media comments, from sadness over missing it to pure excitement for those on board.
One wrote on DeLoach’s post, “THIS IS SOO EXCITING!!! It’s like a Family Reunion and I couldn’t be More Thrilled to watch from afar. YALL HAVE FUN! 🤩”
Another fan lamented, “Your just around the corner from me and im stuck at work 😢 have fun!”
Someone else commented, “This tops my Bucket List 4 sure! Dreams of someday being able to join you all with my dtr, if the budget ever allows! (I’m 74 so maybe I’d better hope for the lottery! Lol!) Have an AMAZING TRIP!”
2026 Hallmark Cruise Has Already Been Announced

When Hallmark announced its first-ever Christmas Cruise in 2024, the November trip sold out in a day, prompting the company to host a second sail with another group of stars. That getaway sold out immediately, too.
For 2025, Hallmark and its cruise partner, Sixthman, got a bigger boat — the Norwegian Joy — to host one cruise that fit more guests and more stars.
A 2026 Hallmark cruise has already been announced. This time, the Norwegian Joy will set sail in October instead of November, but they haven’t revealed which stars will be on board yet.

Where did they sail from? What town?
Miami Florida
I was on Sail #2 last year and had a great time. I was added to someone’s cabin with a second person and I barely knew either woman prior to getting on the ship. I met great people to hang out with whether dining participating in different events. I was able to take selfies with two stars and a third gave me one of the giveaway decorative Hallmark pillows. I was unable to join 2025’s cruise because my date to select a room was well after the more reasonably priced rooms were taken. But for those who have never been, it is so much fun to have Christmas everyday, morning through night! I loved how many of us dressed up or dressed down in everything Christmas from clothes to jewelry to shoes. Such a wonderful experience that I hope many Hallmark fans will be able to join in the future!
We are on this cruise now. All the Hallmark Stars are amazingly nice and love to take pics with us. We were in the 2024 Sail 1 and both have been great!
I was on sail 1 and now I’m on the 2025 Joy with these amazing stars. Had a great time with my cousin. Met some stars, who were extremely nice. I
