Jodie Sweetin & Candace Cameron Bure Relive the ‘Full House’ Magic [PHOTOS]

It’s strange to think that it’s been nearly four decades since “Full House” first premiered. In 1987, we were introduced to the unusual Tanner family, consisting of a widower raising three kids with two friends: his brother-in-law and a stand-up comic. Showrunner Jeff Franklin, Hallmark star Jodie Sweetin, and former Hallmark star Candace Cameron Bure all marked the milestone.

“Happy 38th birthday to my baby, my family… ‘Full House,'” Franklin captioned a Tanner family photo. “The Jane Mysteries” star re-shared the image in her Instagram stories, while also reminiscing about the show that had such a significant impact on her life.

“Love you!!! How has it been THIS LONG!!” Sweetin wrote. “Incredible. Thank you for seeing little me as Stephanie Judith Tanner. I’m forever grateful I got to bring her to life 38 years ago!”

For Bure, the anniversary prompted a heartburn medication joke, a carousel of never-before-seen photos, and a video from Bob Saget that will bring tears to your eyes.

Candace Cameron Bure Shares the Best Moments with the Tanners

“38 years since we first met the Tanners??” Bure captioned her post. “Oh, Mylanta!!🤯 What a beautiful journey filled with laughter, lessons, and lots and lots of love…🥹❤️ #FullHouse was my childhood, my family, my home. Forever grateful.”

The various photos of the cast were a walk down memory lane, showcasing the cast at different times throughout the show’s eight seasons. While some were taken on set, others showed the cast enjoying each other’s company outside work, such as at Disneyland. Towards the end of the carousel is a video of the final “Full House” taping, with the cast coming out for a final bow.

While all the photos evoke nostalgic memories for fans, the final video, containing a sweet message to Bure from Bob Saget, is bittersweet.

“Hey, Candace, it’s just Bob. I know, I needed to tell you that,” he said, while Candace laughed. “Something I’ve always loved about you and always will is how you’ve been such a great friend. So supportive, and helped me through some really difficult times. And also helped me through work stuff, like I never knew my lines, even when you were 9 years old, you would tell me my dialogue. I will always be indebted to that, and with “Fuller House,” same thing, you had to help me out there, tell me where to stand.”

“So, I really appreciate that, and, I just love you,” he added.

Dave Coulier Shows Love for Family in Heartfelt Reply to Bure’s Post

While he didn’t post his own, Dave Coulier posted a heartwarming response to Bure’s post.

“My family that I will love forever❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” he commented.

John Stamos often posts “Full House” memories just for the fun of it. In July, he posted a carousel featuring images of himself, Saget, and Coulier in costumes. He also posted a photo of himself, Mary-Kate, and Ashley Olsen at Disneyland. He didn’t post anything this year, but that’s probably because he’s still recovering from playing at Chicago’s Riot Fest.
