Hallmark hunk Marcus Rosner caused a stir with a recent social media post, and even some of his colleagues had a bit of fun with it.
The “Falling Like Snowflakes” alum currently appears on “Sullivan’s Crossing,” and it was a couple of still shots from that series that had pulses racing.
Marcus Rosner & Hallmark’s Benjamin Ayres Had Some Fun With the Shirtless Photos
On March 25, Rosner teased his Instagram followers with two photos showing him shirtless. In the caption, he wrote, “#SullivansCrossing airs Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT on @ctv and streams next day on @cravecanada.”
The top comment came from Hallmark’s “Hope Valley: 1874” star Benjamin Ayres. “I’ve been needing a new iPhone wallpaper,” Ayres teased. He even added a praying hands emoji to emphasize his response.
Not to be outdone, Rosner replied with a cheeky response of his own. He tagged Ayres and wrote, “Mine is Hope Valley: 1874.”
“Hope Valley: 1874” is the name of the new Hallmark series starring Ayres, Bethany Joy Lenz, and Jill Hennessy that just premiered on the network’s streaming platform, Hallmark+.
Pop star Debbie Gibson responded to Ayres’ tease with some laugh-crying cat emojis. Actor Matt Hamilton, who has appeared in Hallmark’s “Three Wisest Men” and “Three Wiser Men and a Boy” movies, went the same route.
The Hallmark Alum Joined ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ at the End of Season 3
Many of Rosner’s other fans added their enthusiastic responses in the comment section by relying on fire emojis and other similar icons.
The star of Hallmark’s “An Ice Palace Romance” and “Falling Like Snowflakes” joined “Sullivan’s Crossing” with an initial appearance in the season 3 finale. Now, as Deadline noted, he is a series regular for season 4, which debuted on March 22.
Rosner plays Liam, a former summer fling of Maggie’s (Morgan Kohan). In the season 3 finale, he suggested he was more than a simple summer fling, though.
Liam claimed he was married to Maggie. That revelation throws a major wrench into Maggie’s relationship with Cal (Chad Michael Murray).
“Sullivan’s Crossing” airs on CTV in Canada and The CW Network in the U.S. In addition, it is also available to stream on Netflix.
As Us Weekly shares, the television series is based on the Robyn Carr book series of the same name. Season 4 quickly threw out a shocker for fans, with the departure of Maggie’s father Harry “Sully” Sullivan (Scott Peterson).
Peterson told Deadline the decision to leave “Sullivan’s Crossing” was his. “I fell in love with Sully and have nothing but fondness for him,” he told the media outlet.
However, Peterson added, “The creative differences were becoming untenable and I just sadly realized that the show was not something I could agree to continue.”
Sully may be gone, but Liam’s presence is generating plenty of buzz. Fans can only hope to see more scenes of Rosner like the photos he posted on Instagram that caused such a stir.
