There’s nothing more precious than a child’s drawing. Erin Napier shared a look at her 4-year-old’s latest adorable artwork and the HGTV star’s daughter’s skills are impressive!
Erin Napier’s Daughter Draws Mommy
On October 13, Napier took to Instagram to share a look at her youngest daughter’s artwork. The HGTV star was the subject, as she noted in the caption, “‘Mommy in Her Glasses’ — Mae, age 4.”
Napier didn’t include any other commentary with the drawing, which included bold green glasses and pink lipstick, but her fans loved seeing the budding artist’s latest piece.
“Looks just like you!” one fan wrote.
Another person commented, “I love this. It needs a frame. Pretty darn good for a tiny tot.”
“Truly wonderful. I detect a Picasso influence? 😉” another fan wrote.
One of Napier’s followers shared, “Someday Mae will be embarrassed by this, but she’s showing advanced skill for her age. She put a lot of love in her portrait.”
Other fans noted, “Precious stuff right there,” “Circles are hard! Pretty good for a 4 year old. Great use of color,” “She gave you a lovely smile!” and “Aww. How adorable ❤️❤️.”
“She’s just like her mama. She’s an artist in the making,” one fan noted. “It’s beautiful.❤️”
Many fans shared how impressed they are by the young artist, with one noting, “That’s outstanding. 4? Pure talent.”
Both of her kids have artistic talents. On August 4, Erin shared some of Helen’s photos of their home. “Helen took these pictures of our house on her @campsnapcamera and 30 years from now I know these will be treasures,” she wrote at the time.
Napier shared three of Helen’s photos that captured the stillness and calm of a peaceful kitchen and dining areas, and gave some peeks at other rooms in their home.
HGTV Star is Homeschooling Her Kids
On September 1, Napier took to Instagram to share her plan to homeschool Helen and Mae.
“Homeschool was our dream from the day Helen was born, but work was busy then Mae was born and we just kept saying ‘someday we will,'” the HGTV star explained in the caption of the since-deleted post.
Napier continued, “After 3 years at an amazing little school, the dream wouldn’t leave me alone and we weren’t ready to let this summer of being together and having fun end.”
“So, here we go,” she added. “My painting studio became a classical school overnight.”
Napier gave a glimpse at their school setup in a September 4 Instagram post and also showed the book “The Well-Trained Mind: A Guide to Classical Education,” which many of her fans noted is an excellent read for homeschooling.
