Jenny Marrs introduced fans to a couple of new adorable animals that just joined their farm — and they are too cute! The HGTV star shared photos and videos of the two lambs and fans are loving the newest additions to the Marrs family.
Jenny Marrs Welcomes Lambs to the Farm: ‘I Didn’t Hesitate to Say Yes’
On March 18, Marrs took to Instagram to share their newest farm animals — Walter and Hazel!
“Thank you all for the kind words of encouragement from my post yesterday! 🥺🤍 I am not rushing into this book, but I do feel like God has placed a story in my path that’s worth sharing,” she wrote, referencing her previous post about the desire to write another book.
“And, I so appreciate you all sharing all the ways in which you are ‘daring to hope’ … I love that this little corner of the internet can be a place where we can inspire, encourage and spur one another on!” Marrs noted.
She continued, “This morning, I too, am ‘daring to hope’ once again. When our neighbor, Mr. Tommy, called to let me know he has two bottle lambs in need of care, I didn’t hesitate to say yes.”
Marrs explained how the lambs are residing in the chicken coop that her husband Dave just built.
“I’m daring to hope that these two will bring joy to our farm after so much loss,” Marrs explained. “We didn’t have a lambing season this year (for the first time in ten years) because we lost BaaBaa and her babies. And, you may remember that two years ago, I fell hard for my bottle-baby, Tommy, and we lost him to illness. 💔”
She shared, “So, today, we welcome Walter and Hazel to the farm with expectant hope for the joy they’ll bring despite the distinct possibility for sorrow.”
“I prayed over these two as I drove them up the street to our home: May they stay safe and healthy and, most of all, thank you, Lord for new life, new mercies and fresh reminders that our hope is in you alone (Psalm 39:7)!” the HGTV star added.
Fans Love the Marrs’ Sweet New Farm Babies
Marrs’ fans flooded the comments section to share their love for Walter and Hazel.
“God placed these two precious little ones in your life for a reason,” one fan wrote. “You need them as much as they need you. They have found the home God intended them to have. Prayers for health, lots of patience, boundless joy and abundant love.”
