Jonathan Scott’s having a get-together at his New York City apartment and you’re invited! On February 20, 2026, the longtime HGTV star will host a live virtual tour of the Manhattan home he shares with his fiancée, actress Zooey Deschanel.
The couple, who also have a house in Los Angeles, finished extensive renovations on their East Coast apartment in 2025.
How to Watch Jonathan Scott’s Apartment Tour
Scott and Deschanel, who have been engaged since 2023, purchased their two-story New York City apartment that same year, according to Architectural Digest. In October 2025, the couple gave the magazine a first look at the meticulous design and decor in every inch of the gorgeous space.
Now Scott plans to open their doors to fans, too, with a live tour via YouTube, starting at 2:30 p.m. Eastern time on February 20. Interested fans can sign up to be notified when it starts (click the button that says “notify me”).
The “Celebrity IOU” star’s goal, according to the tour’s description, is to share “what it really looks like to build a home in one of the most competitive real estate markets in the world.”
“This is not a staged showroom,” the description continues. “He walks through the full space and breaks down the real decisions behind it. How to make smart storage look intentional. How to blend two strong design styles into one cohesive home while living together with Zooey. Every layout choice matters. He shares the big ideas and even the small details, down to the patterns in the floor. Jonathan shares what worked, and how they made the apartment feel personal instead of temporary.”
The tour is likely the most personal one the Scott has led fans through, but he loves posting tours of famous homes and spaces on the YouTube channel he shares with his twin brother, Drew.
Jonathan Scott & Zooey Deschanel Weren’t Initially Impressed With Their Apartment
Scott and Deschanel had a very specific vision for their apartment, but couldn’t be there regularly, given that they live primarily in Los Angeles. So they relied on New York contractor Artie Lange, whom HGTV fans may recognize from various “Property Brothers” projects, including 2017’s “Property Brothers Buying & Selling.”
Luxury home interior designer Young Huh, named one of Architectural Digest’s top 100 creatives in 2024, also helped the couple with decor.
“Young is brilliant with maximalist style and she really got my aesthetic,” Deschanel told Architectural Digest in the fall. “It takes a lot of skill to mix patterns and textures and make them feel harmonious.”
When the couple first toured the apartment in 2019, Deschanel thought it was “gross,” per the outlet. Scott explained, “It had sat vacant for a long time and was in need of a lot of love. But a little vision goes a long way.”
Although their aesthetic is very old-world, Scott told the magazine that “technology is tucked into everything,” including hidden retractable screens in the living and family rooms, a high-tech Yamaha Disklavier grand piano, and even a sophisticated karaoke setup hidden inside custom cabinetry in the living room.
