Egypt Sherrod Teases TV Return After HGTV Canceled ‘Married to Real Estate’
On February 17, Sherrod took to Instagram to share her outlook on design in 2026.
“This year, I’m not designing from trends. I’m designing from testimony,” she shared in the caption. “From the quiet battles. From the prayers whispered over blueprints. From the tears that taught me how to see light differently.”
Sherrod continued, “May the spaces we create this year be fearless … not because they’re loud, but because they’re honest.”
“Unbridled, not in chaos, but in freedom,” she noted. “Unleashed, not in ego, but in purpose.”
The former HGTV star added, “I don’t just want rooms that look beautiful. I want rooms that breathe. Rooms that hold healing. Rooms that remind you that YOUR BECOMING is holy work.”
Fans lit up the comments section, with many noting how much they miss “Married to Real Estate.”
“GOD is doing a new thing,” Sherrod told one fan.
In response to a fan who asked, “When is the new show??” Sherrod noted, “Soon come! Redirection.”

While Sherrod hasn’t revealed any big details on their return to TV, she has been dropping little clues here and there.
On January 17, Sherrod took to Instagram with a video showing off her makeup artist’s beautiful work.
“There is something about a good make up beat that makes you feel super confident like you can conquer the world 💋💋,” Sherrod shared in the caption. “There is also something about a good hubby that’s not afraid to pick up a vacuum cleaner 🤣.”
