Most HGTV fans dream of getting one windfall big enough to appear on “My Lottery Dream Home,” for the chance to have host David Bromstad help them find a home they love.
But Alicia and Rick Jultak have been on the show a whopping three times and bought three separate houses! The couple’s home base is in Boca Raton, Florida, but they also wanted to find a home away from home with Bromstad’s help.
Three-Time ‘My Lottery Dream Home’ Couple First Appeared in 2020
The Jultaks first appeared on “My Lottery Dream Home” in 2020, on an episode they filmed pre-COVID. Alicia’s great uncle left her a surprise inheritance of $900,000, per HGTV, and the Florida-based couple decided to put the money toward a vacation home in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
The couple purchased a three-level getaway with huge windows overlooking the mountains and an outdoor living space with a hot tub and fireplace. The home, dubbed Outlook Lodge, was listed for $745,000, but according to HGTV, they closed on the house for $765,000.
“It’s our style and taste,” Alicia told producers. “We didn’t have to do a thing to the house and I can spend my time not doing projects, but meeting people and shopping downtown.”
The Jultaks More Than Doubled Their Money on Their 1st ‘My Lottery Dream Home’ Getaway
The only problem with the Jultaks’ Georgia getaway? They told Bromstad on their next “My Lottery Dream Home” appearance — airing as part of season 18 in August 2025 — that it took too long to fly from their primary home in Boca Raton, Florida, and then drive two hours from the Atlanta airport to their Blue Ridge lodge.
As they were considering selling, someone knocked on their door and offered them $1.65 million — resulting in a $835,00 profit. So, they decided to “go bi-coastal” and called in Bromstad again to help them find a “summer home” in San Diego, not far from the airport but with a great deck and fabulous view.
But their budget had grown, up to $2.5 million, and even though Bromstad was thrilled by the number, he convinced them — or Alicia, at least — to leave some wiggle room up to $3 million. In the end, they chose Woodson Way, which Rick said was “the definition of indoor/outdoor living.” They purchased the home for $2,600,000, and said they loved spending time there.
They didn’t explain where the extra money came from for the San Diego pad, but according to Trucordia, Rick owned a Florida-based health and Medicare insurance agency for many years and sold it for an undisclosed sum in 2022.
Alicia & Rick Jultak Just Bought Another Dream Home in Florida
On November 7, just three months after they were seen purchasing their California getaway, the Jultaks appeared for a third time on “My Lottery Dream Home,” telling Bromstad that they also wanted to find a new dream home in Boca Raton. Once again, the budget was $2.5 million for a home with four to five bedrooms, an entertaining space with a pool, and a golf community, if possible.
Bromstad showed them three properties, as he always does, including one sitting right on a golf course for $2.75 million, causing Rick to joke that he might want to work instead with the Property Brothers! In the end, though, the Jultaks chose that five-bedroom, five-bath, 5,600-square-foot home, and got it for a steal: $2,630,000.
“My Lottery Dream Home” airs every Friday night, with a six-episode marathon planned for January 9, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time.
