‘Pawn Stars’ Fan Favorite Hospitalized

“Pawn Stars” personality Corey Harrison — affectionately known to fans as “Big Hoss” — is recovering after a serious accident that left him in the hospital with multiple injuries, including numerous broken ribs, and sharing a surprisingly upbeat update with followers.

The longtime cast member of the hit History Channel reality series revealed in a social-media post that although the crash was severe, he’s focusing on healing and staying positive.

In photos Harrison shared to Instagram on Monday, January 26, he showed the aftermath of the incident, including close-up images of cuts and bruises on his face, an X-ray of his rib damage and shots of himself resting in a hospital bed.

Harrison Shares An Update With Fans

“Pretty messed up, but I’m good,” he captioned the post. “Crash bars are awesome. 3 nights in the hospital, 11 breaks in my rib cage. Will do an episode on @theCoreyHarrisonshow. Sorry Pops, looks like I’m missing your wedding.”

The details of how the accident occurred weren’t shared, but Harrison’s mention of “crash bars” suggests it may have involved a vehicle or motorcycle, as crash bars are protective equipment commonly used on motorcycles.

Even so, his tone stayed grounded and forward-looking, and he teased that he plans to discuss the incident in fuller detail on his podcast, “The Corey Harrison Show” — giving fans something to look forward to once he’s back on his feet.

Though the injuries are serious — with doctors diagnosing 11 broken ribs — Harrison’s message was one of resilience rather than alarm.

He also included a light-hearted nod to a significant family event: he wrote that he’ll likely miss his father Rick Harrison’s upcoming wedding, which drew attention because the elder Harrison recently tied the knot in Las Vegas.

The couple married on January 3, 2026, at the Little White Chapel with an Elvis impersonator officiating, followed by a small celebration at Rick’s Rollin Smoke BBQ & Tavern.

Fans React

Fans reacted to Harrison’s update with a flood of well-wishes and encouragement, praising his positive attitude amid recovery.

Comments online reflected the supportive community that’s grown around “Pawn Stars” over its long run, with viewers expressing relief that Harrison is conscious, communicative and already thinking about the future.

Harrison’s journey on “Pawn Stars” has endeared him to audiences since the show debuted in 2009, known for his humor, strong family ties and charismatic presence alongside Rick Harrison and Chumlee.

His willingness to share these raw, real-life moments — even when difficult — reinforces that human connection and vulnerability remain a big part of the show’s appeal.

As he continues his recovery, fans are cheering him on and looking forward to his full story when Harrison returns to work and his podcast microphone.

  1. I’ve never seen nor heard of a “crash bar” on a motorcycle. Cars, race cars, 4×4’s, dirt buggies, yes. Motorcycles, no.

  2. Selfish . These celebrities have money and insurance that young parents do not. Too many parents of terminally ill babies and children need help financially. I don’t see “go fund me “ anywhere. After living and above pay grade isn’t our fault. Narcissistic behaviors all over Hollywood are shameful.
