Fans Are Raving About Sugar’s Reunion Tour
The comments section of Sugar’s announcement post was flooded with longtime fans showing their excitement.
“Welcome back 🔥❤️🔥,” one fan commented.

Sugar Has Had a Storied Career
Sugar was formed in 1992 after Bob Mould split from punk band Husker Du. After touring as a solo artist, Mould recruited Barbe and Travis to form a new band, which would become Sugar.
“We went to Waffle House to have breakfast and talk about it, and I looked down on the table and there was a sugar packet,” Mould told Guitar World. “That was the moment when those songs went from being on the third Bob Mould solo album to being on a record by a band called Sugar.”
The band released its first album, Copper Blue—which would go on to be named Album of the Year by NME—in 1992.
Fans noticed in October 2025 that all of the band’s members began following social media accounts attributed to Sugar, which fueled reunion speculation.
