Ace Frehley passed away on Thursday, October 16. Hours before the family announced his death in a statement, he was on life support with a brain bleed, TMZ reports. At the time of Frehley’s death, he was 74.
Fans have reacted to his passing with an outpouring of love as well as a mixture of disbelief that the rocker has died. It is clear from the tributes that Frehley was loved by many. As a founding member of the rock band KISS, Frehley received a lot of attention from women who had a romantic interest in him. However, some relationships were more public, and these are three of the women who had Frehley’s heart.
Jeannette Trerotola
Frehley had several relationships but was only married once. He married Jeannette Trerotola in 1978. The pair had one child, a daughter named Monique Frehley, who was born in 1980.
The musician reflected on the breakdown of his marriage, which lasted seven years, in his 2012 book, “No Regrets.” “A fresh start was in order and part of the process involved legally separating from my wife,” he wrote, Us Weekly reports. “Jeanette had decided to move on, and was involved in a relationship with a local guy.”
Rachael Gordon

Rachael Gordon and Frehley got engaged in 2010; however, their relationship did not end well. In November 2019, Gordon was granted a temporary restraining order against Frehley, TMZ reports. The couple was together for 11 years.
Frehley had gone into her home with two bodyguards and his daughter, Monique Frehley, to retrieve his belongings from his office, TMZ reports. Gordon claimed in court documents that she was “filled with anxiety” over the incident, TMZ reports.
Lara Cove
Frehley’s last known relationship was with school teacher Lara Cove. The pair met in 2018 and dated for six years. Despite their split, they remained amicable. “I broke up with my ex, Lara. Sorry. She’s gone,” Frehley said during a June 2024 concert, Us Weekly reports.
He continued, “I still care about her. Wonderful girl, beautiful girl. We decided to part our own ways, and she’s happy, I’m happy. It was just time. Things go south, right? Three out of four marriages end after five years in this country, statistically. I don’t wanna be a bearer of bad news, but that’s reality.”
Frehley is survived by his daughter.
