Beloved pop star Halsey suffered a painful injury amid her “Back To Badlands” world tour.
The singer, 31, revealed she burned herself with a vocal steamer and even shared a photo of the injury on Instagram. Scroll down for the pic.
In the mirror selfie, Halsey showed off her stomach covered in bandages. Despite the painful burns, the “Closer” singer gave a thumbs-up for the camera.
“Burned myself with the burning water in my vocal steamer,” Halsey captioned the post. “Falling apart! France 2 Ash 0. UK next!”
A vocal steamer is a device that produces moist air, which the user then inhales to hydrate and soothe vocal cords. It also helps reduce strain and is often used by singers.
Fans Send Love to Halsey After Painful Accident
Fans rallied around Halsey with messages of love and support following the painful accident.
One fan wrote, “Hope you’re ok. Your hair looks good that way.” Another commented, “I bet that hurt,” while someone chimed in, “I hope she’s okay.”
Halsey’s “Back to Badlands” tour marks the 10th anniversary of her debut album. On Monday, January 26, the singer dominated the stage at L’Olympia in Paris, France.
Despite her injury, Halsey continues with her tour, performing at The Hall, Avviva Studios, in Manchester, UK, on January 29, before heading to London for a February 3 show.
Halsey’s Health Issues
This isn’t the first time Halsey opened up about her health issues. In 2024, the singer revealed she had been diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.
In September 2025, Halsey revealed she had undergone more chemotherapy and had to get an implanted port.
The singer has also opened up about her struggles with endometriosis and has undergone multiple surgeries following the diagnosis.
Halsey also previously revealed that she had been diagnosed with ADHD, bipolar disorder, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogre’s syndrome, MCAS, and POTS.
“Obviously, my health has changed a lot since I got pregnant and gave birth and I started getting really, really, really sick,” Halsey said in a previous Instagram Stories post (via Daily Mail). “I’ve been kind of sick pretty much my whole adult life, but it started getting bad. I’m still looking for answers to the root cause of some of these things. They could potentially be another form of autoimmune disease.”
Halsey is engaged to Avan Jogia and has a son, Ender Ridly Aydin, with her ex-boyfriend Alev Aydin.
