Rock legend Gene Simmons has just re-listed his modern Beverly Hills mansion, giving fans and luxury home lovers a rare peek at the striking property that exemplifies sleek California living.
The KISS co-founder and bassist put the hillside estate back on the market with a fresh price — and the photos show why it’s turning heads, according to TMZ.
Simmons’ contemporary residence — re-listed at just under $13 million after a $1 million price cut — spans 7,741 square feet and features four bedrooms and five bathrooms, blending cutting-edge design with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, mountains and valley below.
All About the Home
Built in 2017, the property reflects modernist architecture with a striking combination of glass, steel, oak wood and concrete — materials that create dramatic lines and flood the interiors with natural light.
Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping vistas, and a generous 1,800-square-foot deck invites outdoor living against the backdrop of star-studded Los Angeles.
One of the home’s most eye-catching features is its state-of-the-art kitchen, complete with sleek finishes and high-end appliances that will delight culinary enthusiasts.
The open-plan layout flows into a spacious living area highlighted by modern fixtures and an inviting atmosphere that pairs luxury with comfort.
Entertainment is a priority in the residence: a plush home theater provides the perfect setting for movie nights, while expansive indoor-outdoor spaces encourage gatherings with friends or quiet moments taking in the views.
Throughout the home, thoughtful architectural touches — including retractable glass walls and seamless transitions between rooms — emphasize a sophisticated yet relaxed lifestyle.
Sustainability is also a part of the property’s appeal.
The design incorporates solar power, radiant heated floors and fire-resistant, waterproof triple-pane windows, giving the mansion a green edge without sacrificing luxury. These features appeal to buyers seeking both comfort and energy efficiency in a prime Beverly Hills location.
Simmons Purchased the Home in 2021
Gene and his wife, Shannon Tweed Simmons, purchased the home in 2021 for $10.5 million, and it served as a stylish base amid their broader real estate portfolio. While they maintain other properties — including a Malibu residence — Simmons’ decision to downsize reflects both lifestyle and market considerations as he adjusts his holdings.
Real estate agents Lisa Young and Kennon Earl of Compass are handling the listing, which has already sparked interest from buyers drawn to the property’s blend of privacy, modern design and cinematic views.
Simmons previously tried to sell the home back in April of 2025, according to PEOPLE.
The rock legend stated what his favorite part of the home was. “My favorite part of the house is waking up in the morning in the upper bedroom, having coffee in bed and, on a clear day, being able to see all the way out to the ocean,” he said.
The 76-year-old said his “other favorite time is sunset in the upper bedroom or downstairs barbecuing something outdoors.”
He noted how the views are truly “spectacular.”
