Jack Osbourne is opening up about how his mom, Sharon Osbourne, is coping in the months following the death of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne. During a deeply emotional appearance on Good Morning America on October 6, the 39-year-old became tearful as he shared that Sharon is still learning to navigate life after losing her partner of more than 40 years.

We just didn’t think of it. It was a different weight to it.”
Remembering Ozzy’s Final Performance
Ozzy died on July 22 at age 76, just 17 days after performing his farewell Back to the Beginning concert in Birmingham, England, alongside his Black Sabbath bandmates. Speaking to GMA’s Chris Connelly, Jack recalled the emotions he felt watching that final show.

Reflecting on the bittersweet moment, Jack added, “In hindsight, it kind of was a living wake if you think about it.”
Sharon’s Quiet Return to Public Life
Sharon, 72, was front and center at the July 5 charity show, which she helped organize for Ozzy. Since his death, she’s kept a low profile, appearing in public only a handful of times.
On July 30, she was seen stepping from the funeral procession to lay flowers at the Black Sabbath Bridge and Bench in Birmingham, where fans gathered to pay tribute to the rock legend.
She remained silent on social media until September 12, when she shared a video from a day out with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne. In her caption, she thanked fans for their “overwhelming love and support” that carried her through “many nights.”

In her September post, Sharon admitted she is still “finding her footing” after losing her husband. “I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way,” she wrote.
As the Osbourne family continues to navigate their grief, their strength, unity, and connection to fans remain a touching reminder of the love that defined Ozzy’s legacy.
