Keith Urban took the stage looking calm, cool and collected on October 2, 2025 in his first performance since word of his breakup and impending divorce from 58-year-old Nicole Kidman hit the news. A YouTube clip captured at the concert shows the 57-year-old country megastar strumming his guitar in a Hershey Bears jersey while playing hits such as “You Look Good in My Shirt,” and “You Get What You Give,” a song by New Radicals.
The appearance, which took place in Hershey, PA, was a part of Urban’s “High and Alive” world tour. PennLive.com says the artist happily told the crowd, “I freaking love you, Pennsylvania” at one point during the show.
As fans know, Kidman filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” on Tuesday, September 30 in a Nashville court. The pair tied the knot on June 25, 2006, according to People’s relationship timeline of the ex couple.
Notably absent from the stage was Maggie Baugh, the 25-year-old with whom Urban has sparked speculation of a romance after a flirty onstage moment in which he pointed towards her while singing the line “I was born to love you.”
The rising artist’s father has since come forward to reveal that he has met Urban in Las Vegas, but can’t confirm that his daughter’s relationship with Urban is anything beyond a professional one.
First Public Sighting of Keith Urban Since Divorce Announcement
On October 2, Fox News published photos of the “Making Memories of Us” singer stepping off a plane in the first shots taken of the former “American Idol” judge since news broke of the split on September 30.
The outlet pointed out that his wedding ring finger was bare.
How Keith Urban Included His Nicole Kidman in His Show
Keith Urban’s October 3 show contained a reference to his ex, which has been a regular part of his performances during the tour. During the song “Heart Like a Hometown,” the screen flashed a photo of Kidman and the two teenage daughters he shares with the “Bewitched” star.
Other than the photo, there were no references to Kidman or to the divorce during the show.
Backstage Country says Urban previously revealed what inspired him to write the tune. They quoted the star as saying, “So, a hometown for me became more about my family and my guitar because I was playing guitar at the age of six. So, home became like a place inside of me.”
