At just 14 years old, Willow Sage Hart is trading the spotlight for textbooks—well, sort of.
The daughter of music icon Pink and motocross champion Carey Hart officially stepped into high school on Thursday, marking a heartfelt milestone in her young life.
Her proud father captured the moment on Instagram, calling it a “crazy” and emotional experience.
He sweetly wrote, “1st day of school for the kiddo’s!!!! So crazy that Willz is starting high school today. My lil girl is growing up and taking the 1st major step in chasing her dream. You will be on broadway one day. So proud of you.”
In the snapshot, Willow beamed in a cropped pink top and belted jeans, clutching a pink Stanley water bottle with a cream-colored backpack slung casually over her shoulder.
And her younger brother, 8-year-old Jameson, wasn’t left behind—he joined the school day excitement with a double thumbs-up in his own photo, sporting a white tee, colorful shorts, bright sneakers, and an adorable set of braces. His dad quipped: “Jamo, just don’t eat too much glue.”

Willow Is Following in Her Mom’s Footsteps
Willow isn’t just any freshman—she’s already proven to be a star in the making.
She first burst onto the Billboard charts with the duet “Cover Me in Sunshine”, which she sang alongside her mom. They performed it live at the Billboard Music Awards and again during Pink’s 2023–2024 “Summer Carnival” tour.
Pink recalled the moment Willow sang “Cover Me in Sunshine” and only did one take, according to PEOPLE.
She said that she just taught herself GarageBand when Willow heard the song and said she liked it.
“I was like, ‘You want to sing on it? Because I could produce you. I know how to do the reverb, even.’ She’s like, ‘Yeah, I’ll sing on it,'” Pink recalled.
“So she did one take, and then she went swimming,” she added. “I was like, ‘Do you want to do one more, just for safety? That’s what people do.’ She’s like, ‘No, bye.'”
In 2024, the pair also graced the stage at the Democratic National Convention, delivering a stirring rendition of “What About Us.”
