Angela, 67, was pictured at the ceremony wearing a silk black halter top with matching trousers and black pumps. Her sleek look was tied together with her straight hair and perfectly styled bangs, as well as her simple but elegant accessories.
Bronwyn matched her mom in a black long-sleeved romper paired with sheer black tights and leopard print platform heels. Slater Vance, posed beside his twin sister in a plaid blazer, a blue shirt tucked into his jeans, and a Western-style belt with a silver buckle.
The ceremony’s honoree, their dad, wore a blue pinstriped suit with a necktie.
All four were pictured standing near the newly unveiled star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame where Bronwyn also paid tribute to her father.

The family’s appearance at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony came just weeks after Bronwyn made her society debut at the Le Bal des Débutantes at the Shangri-La Paris hotel in November. For the occasion, Bronwyn stunned in a custom Stéphane Rolland haute couture gown, featuring off-the-shoulder sleeves and a dramatic tulle skirt with gold detailing.
Details from the event were revealed in an Instagram post from Duchess Lifestyle Magazine:
“This year’s Le Bal des Débutantes showcased a slew of glamorous young faces, but one was Hollywood royalty. The daughter of Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance- Bronwyn Vance.”
Known simply as Le Bal, the exclusive, invite-only debutante ball can only be described as the Met Gala but for teenagers, scions, heiresses and royals, according to Vogue magazine, which had a firsthand inside look at the big night. The 2025 edition of the debutante ball was held at the Shangri-La Paris hotel, a luxury 5-star hotel near the city’s Eiffel Tower, on Saturday, 29 November.
A current student at Harvard studying film and sociology, she wore an ivory tulle gown with gold detailing made by French designer Stéphane Rolland and was escorted by her twin brother, Slater. Her parents were also in attendance, and Vance and her father kicked off the party with a father-daughter dance.”
Bronwyn brought her brother to act as her cavalier, which is the male escort who accompanies each debutante.
“I thought it would be less pressure to have my brother and built-in best friend,” she told Hello! ahead of the event.
“It just feels like you are a princess for one night,” Bronwyn said of the ball to ELLE. “It’s a beautiful ceremony to allow girls to feel extremely special for one night. I wanted to be a part of something so beautiful, so spectacular, that I probably won’t be able to experience again.”
