The Car of One of Savannah Guthrie’s Family Members Has Been Seized & ‘Towed Into Evidence’: REPORT

The search for Savannah Guthrie’s beloved missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, is now on its 5th day, and it has been reported that a car belonging to Savannah’s sister, Annie Guthrie, has been seized by authorities.

The report about the seized car comes from News Nation reporter Ashleigh Banfield, an experienced journalist who previously worked for CNN and ABC, among other outlets. She began her update by saying, “I have spoken with an impeccable law enforcement source who has informed me with his knowledge of the investigation, of some extraordinarily serious pieces of information about this crime scene.”

Report Says Annie Guthrie’s Car Is In Evidence

Banfield stressed during her report that her source is “very connected” and “highly regarded,” with “impeccable” credentials and knowledge of the investigation before saying “the vehicle has been towed, impounded, and is now in evidence.”

The connection between Annie Guthrie’s vehicle and the investigation may be her husband, Tommaso Cioni, whom Banfield said may be considered a “prime suspect” in the case.

As of the most recent press conference, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has opted not to publicly discuss the car or name any suspects.

Report: Multiple Smashed Cameras Suggest Culprit Was ‘Familiar’ With Crime Scene

Banfield said, “I wanna give you a little bit of information on Tommaso Cioni, Annie Guthrie’s husband who at this point, I am told may be a prime suspect in this case. He’s 50, from Tucson. She then said a bio on an Italian nonprofit site focused on promoting contemporary artists states he was born on June 18, 1975, and has lived in Tucson, AZ since 2006. His interests include studying lizards and playing the electric base, per the bio. LinkedIn says he’s been a teacher at BASIS Oro Valley school since 2007, as a primary instructor for 6th grade science and AP biology. He has released music with a 3-man Tucson band called Early Black.

Annie and Tommaso were spotted for the first time since the kidnapping yesterday, although Annie appeared alongside Savannah and their brother, Cameron, in a video prior to that sighting.

Speaking about the damaged cameras at Nancy Guthrie’s home, Banfield said, “I can tell you that Mrs. Guthrie had cameras at this home, and that they were smashed. I can tell you they are Nest cameras, and whoever did this may have smashed those cameras. So, they’re not there because law enforcement presumably took those smashed cameras as evidence.” She added her law enforcement source feels sure the kidnapping was done by “someone who knew where the cameras were. Somebody who was familiar with this home, these premises, this woman.”

Report: Law Enforcement Source Believes TMZ Ransom Note Was Fake

Banfield said her source also addressed a ransom note that was directed to TMZ demanding millions in Bitcoin. “My source says that they don’t believe this is real. They think it’s just troublemakers trying to insert themselves into this story. Could that change? Yes.”

Banfield then reviewed, “I told you already about the pacemaker information. The law enforcement sources have narrowed it down to the kidnapping happening at 2 AM, based on the pacemaker stopping at 2 AM. That’s when they believe Nancy was taken from that house.”

Banfield then referenced the trail of blood drops that was found on the ground outside of Nancy’s door, saying, “All forms of DNA that were submitted have come back. But the Sheriff said the forms of DNA have not pointed to a suspect. Which tells them that it was likely Nancy’s blood. Or at least, nothing has come back yet to point to a suspect, regarding the blood.

    • I agree now a vehicle of the family’s been impounded the cameras were smashed at the house you’d have to know where they were all at to pull that off but I don’t understand is many of the neighbors have ring doorbells also what about street cameras they’re everywhere that’s how they narrowed it down to the Ohio couple that was shot and killed by ex husband I don’t believe this lady is still alive but there’s always a positive way to look at it that she still is and hope for the family that she still is
