In the caption, the group shared the sad news, reflecting on the brilliant life that Armani had had. “Milan, 4 September 2025 – With infinite sorrow, the Armani Group announces the passing of its creator, founder, and tireless driving force: Giorgio Armani,” the statement reads.
It continues, “Il Signor Armani, as he was always respectfully and admiringly called by employees and collaborators, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones. Indefatigable to the end, he worked until his final days, dedicating himself to the company, the collections, and the many ongoing and future projects.”

Armani launched his brand in 1975 and has been praised for his visionary approach and innovative designs. He has been celebrated for 50 years, and he leaves behind not just a successful company, but a legacy!

The statement about Armani’s death posted on Instagram revealed details of his private funeral and memorial service, which will take place on Saturday, September 6, and end on Sunday, September 7, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will be held in Milan, at Via Bergognone 59, inside the Armani/Teatro.
