Savannah Guthrie Interview May Have Left Nancy Guthrie’s Abductor ‘Terrified,’ Former FBI Agent Claims

Savannah Guthrie’s emotional interview with Hoda Kotb could leave Nancy Guthrie’s abductor “terrified.”

Former FBI agent Jason Pack made the claim in an interview with Page Six, adding that the heart-wrenching tell-all has renewed public interest in the case.

“This interview doesn’t hurt the investigation,” he told the outlet. “What it does is keep Nancy’s name in the news at the exact moment national attention starts to drift. The whole country has been praying for this family.”

Pack also believes Savannah’s interview could encourage anyone with knowledge of Nancy’s abduction to come forward with credible information.

“Every time Savannah speaks, somebody sitting on information hopefully gets a little closer to picking up the phone,” he added.

Nancy Guthrie Suspect Likely ‘Terrified’ Now

Pack goes on to explain that Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapper is likely “terrified” now that the “entire country is looking for them.”

“In my experience, suspects who have done something like this are usually terrified. They have been scared for two months,” the former FBI agent explained. “Every knock on the door. Every slow-moving car. They are waiting on that one tip that leads law enforcement straight to their doorstep and finally tells the world what happened to Miss Nancy.”

Pack pointed out that Savannah Guthrie’s interview “isn’t necessarily a law enforcement strategy,” but rather an expression of grief.

“This is what grief looks like. It’s a family carrying something too heavy to hold alone, and a woman who decided she was done holding it in silence,” Pack added.

Savannah Guthrie ‘Holding on by a Thread,’ Says Body Language Expert

Meanwhile, body language expert Susan Constantine noted that Savannah Guthrie “remains hopeful” and “reliant on her Christian faith” amid the ongoing search for Nancy Guthrie.

“Her pain and suffering are undeniable, moving Hoda to tears, and anyone with a soul can feel Savannah’s anguish through her voice, facial expressions and body language,” the expert told Page Six. “Her sole strength is her faith, and she is holding on by a thread. However, she remains hopeful someone knows [something].”

Constantine also believes Savannah’s knowledge of the case is limited to what the public already knows.

“I do not see that she knows any more than any of us know. There is no indication of that in her language or body language,” she added.

The body language expert continued, “Savanah’s whole being is in pain; her mind and her thoughts are overtaken by finding her mom, and she will remain steadfast until her mom is found.”
