Nearly four decades after “Full House” first welcomed viewers into the Tanner home, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber have come together again. The five former costars reunited at The Nostalgia Con in Orlando, Florida, this weekend, giving fans a heartwarming look at a television family whose connection lasted well beyond the show’s final episode.

Stamos, Loughlin, Coulier, Sweetin and Barber represented some of the sitcom’s most recognizable characters, including Uncle Jesse, Aunt Becky, Joey Gladstone, Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler.
The cast signed autographs, posed for professional photos and participated in a panel devoted to the series. Organizers promoted the event as “the biggest Full House reunion EVER.”
Loughlin’s appearance marked her first time joining Stamos and the cast at a Nostalgia Con event, adding another special element to the weekend for longtime viewers.

Months before the Orlando gathering, Stamos and Sweetin staged a smaller “Full House” reunion on Instagram.
The pair wore matching blue sweatsuits and performed choreography to Taylor Swift’s “Opalite.” Text placed across the video read, “If Uncle Jesse and Stephanie Tanner had social media today.”
Stamos, 62, kept his caption short, writing, “I’d follow them.”
The playful routine imagined how the TV uncle and niece might interact online as adults while recalling the warmth that defined their characters’ relationship.
Why ‘Full House’ Still Resonates Nearly 40 Years Later
“Full House” premiered in September 1987 and ran for eight seasons before ending in May 1995. The ABC comedy followed widowed father Danny Tanner, played by Bob Saget, as he raised daughters D.J., Stephanie and Michelle with help from Jesse and Joey.
The show was not initially expected to become a television institution.
“When it first came out, the reviews said it wouldn’t last until Thanksgiving,” Stamos told People in 2022.

Sweetin has also embraced what Stephanie means to viewers, saying she feels honored to have been part of a show that remains meaningful to so many people.

Many original stars returned for Netflix’s “Fuller House,” which aired from 2016 to 2020. The sequel centered on D.J., Stephanie and Kimmy as they raised the next generation inside the familiar Tanner home.
The cast’s relationships remained just as enduring. “We never stopped loving each other,” Stamos told People. “That magic you saw? It’s still there because it never stopped from the day that we ended the show.”
That bond helped the group through Saget’s death in 2022. Coulier later said, “We pull together as a family during moments like this.”
The Orlando reunion proves that nearly 40 years later, the Tanner family’s greatest legacy may be the genuine family its stars created along the way.
