Stars React With Heartbreak & Hope to Savannah Guthrie’s Stunning New Video With Her Family

Celebrities who know and love “Today” anchor Savannah Guthrie were gobsmacked by the stunningly raw and vulnerable video she and her siblings — sister Annie and brother Camron — posted on the evening of February 4, 2026.

Looking understandably haggard and heartbroken, Savannah began their video, reading a written statement that addressed a possible captor and noting they were aware of ransom notes regarding their mom, 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie. Millions have been praying for Nancy’s safe return since she disappeared from her home in Tucson, Arizona, overnight on February 1, 2026.

Savannah began the family’s video by stating, “On behalf of our family, we want to thank all of you for the prayers for our beloved mom, Nancy. We feel them, and we continue to believe that she feels them too.”

Choking back tears, Savannah said, “The light is missing from our lives,” she said. “Nancy is our mother. We are her children.”

Savannah called their mom “our heart and our home” through tears, noting, “She is 84 years old. Her health, her heart is fragile.” She also said that Nancy lives in “constant pain” and needs medication to survive. Addressing her mom directly, Savannah added, “Mama, mama, if you’re listening, we need you to come home. We miss you.”

She also addressed a possible captor, clearly still unaware of who might have their mom. “We too have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media,” she said. “As a family, we are doing everything that we can. We are ready to talk.”

Acknowledging the advent of AI technology, she added, “We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please reach out to us.”
