Savannah Guthrie shared a loving, yet heartbreaking tribute for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, on the afternoon of May 10. The post was a video compilation showing the family’s cherished moments with their dear matriarch.
The post comes the same day Fox News published an interview with a retired FBI profiler who believes there is solid proof Nancy was alive when she was taken out the door of her home, and 4 days after Savannah hurried off the “Today” set halfway through the show.
The 54-year-old news anchor wrote to her mom, “Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath.” She also vowed, “We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you.”
Savannah then pleaded for help locating Nancy, as she has done numerous times over the past 3 months and 10 days since the 84-year-old disappeared from Catalina Foothills home near Tucson, Arizona.
“We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous and the reward remains available,” she wrote.
She finished off her message by writing, “Please keep praying. Bring her home,” and tacked on a yellow heart. The color yellow has been a significant symbol of hope throughout the search.
Back in the earlier days of the search, one of Nancy’s neighbors shared with People around February 18, “Some of us put flowers at the front of Nancy’s house, while others who may not have wanted to go down to Nancy’s house, put ribbons on their mailboxes. The yellow ribbon is a sentiment of hope and support after someone goes missing. I believe the use of the yellow ribbons goes back to hostage-taking in the 1970s.”

“And I bet today she’s thinking of you, too. And thinking how proud of the strong woman you are! Hoping you have answers and closures soon. Many prayers to you,” wrote one fan in the comments of Savannah’s new post.
Another chimed in, “Praying for your family Savannah, hoping you find her soon. So sorry you are going through this.”
Some of Savannah’s fellow high-profile media figures have also sent her support. Piers Morgan showed his compassion by leaving a simple heart emoji in the comments, while Carson Daly promised, “I will never stop praying.”
Savannah Guthrie’s Husband Spoke Out on Social Media for Mother’s Day Shortly Before She Did
Savannah’s husband Mike Feldman, whom she married in 2014 a few years after divorcing CBS news host Mark Orchard, somberly celebrated Mother’s Day with a touching photo that shows Savannah huddling with the couple’s two school-aged children, Vale and Charley.
Feldman’s simple and poignant caption read, “To the strongest person I know. Surrounding you with love on Mother’s Day.” He emphasized his feelings with three heart emojis, one of which was broken.
His post got a lot of warm responses. One fan wrote, “You are so beautiful and strong. I’m so sorry for your pain. Hugging those sweet babies is a wonderful feeling in the storm. Know you are loved by millions. Happy Mother’s Day.”
Another said, “It must be so hard to keep going, to keep fighting, to keep breathing. You are admired by many for your strength. I have never before prayed so hard for someone I’ve never met. Prayers for you, your mom, and your family.”
