Tiger Woods wore a somber expression as he was driven home after Friday’s multi-hour ordeal that followed his 2 p.m. Jupiter Island car accident. The golf legend frowned into the night as he sat in the front passenger seat of a black vehicle in a photo captured shortly after midnight on Saturday, March 28.
Yesterday, March 27, photos were released of Tiger standing on the roadside in the immediate aftermath of the incident.

Tiger Woods’ Fans Are Sending Prayers After Tiger Woods’ Accident
Although Tiger is receiving some flack on social media, he’s simultaneously being flooded with support by his fans. One fan took to the comments of his latest Instagram post, a SunDayRed promo he shared two days ago, to tell the 5-time Masters champion, “PLEASE BE OKAY TIGER.”
Another supporter told the star, “Praying for you Tiger,” and added a red heart.
A third commenter seconded those sentiments, writing, “You never know what someone is going through behind closed doors. Praying for him.”
A longer message of support began “Tiger we love you” and went on to say “There is so much in store for you.” The post also called Tiger “an amazing person” before encouraging him, “You can do this!”
Tiger Woods Will Reportedly Sit Out the 2026 Masters Tournament
Even before Friday’s accident, it didn’t look likely that Tiger would play in the 2026 Masters. Donald Trump, who has a connection to Tiger through his former daughter-in-law Vanessa, whom Tiger is currently dating, told Fox News a few days ago, “I love Tiger but he won’t be playing in it.”
Tiger’s decision to skip the tournament comes as no surprise, considering he announced he’d undergone lumbar surgery less than a year ago, in October 2025. The surgery came soon after an Achilles injury from which Tiger was still recovering, according to Golf Week.
The sports icon said in a statement shared to X that his back surgery was to have a collapsed disc replaced, and he considers the move “a good decision for my health and my back.”
