“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gina Kirschenheiter is shutting down pregnancy rumors after an image circulated online appearing to show her and fiancé Travis Mullen holding up a sonogram.
The photo suggested that Kirschenheiter was expecting, which came just a few months after she and Mullen got engaged in December. In fact, the reality star shared a video about the AI-generated photo, and while thankful for the well-wishes, wanted to end all the speculation once and for all.
Gina Kirschenheiter Clarifies Pregnancy Rumors After Photos Show Her Holding Sonogram Images
GettyGina Kirschenheiter wants to make it clear that she and Travis Mullen are not expecting. Taking to Instagram on Feb. 28, the RHOC shared the two AI-generated images on her screen and told her followers she was “sorry if I disappointed people,” but confirmed she is “not pregnant.”
“That was a crazy Facebook AI story,” she continued, adding, “The first thing I want to do is just say thank you so much wholeheartedly to everybody, really, because there was like and overwhelming amount of love and support and congratulations when people thought that Travis and I were having a baby.”
The reality TV star did admit that she did use an AI-generated tool to see what the couple’s “AI babies would look like,” calling them “beautiful,” but that was all for fun.
Still, Kirschenheiter was happy to see that so many people were overjoyed for the couple despite the news being false. “I think it’s so nice and kind,” she shared, adding that many celebrity AI-generated images are “incredibly vicious and mean and wildly inaccurate.”
Kirschenheiter and Mullen already have a full house with the couple sharing three kids each from previous relationships. Now the couple is living as one blended, modern-day Brady Bunch.
Kirschenheiter & Travis Mullen’s Wedding Details
Kirschenheiter and Mullen got engaged on New Year’s Eve last year after dating for over six years. According to People, Mullen got down on one knee and proposed to the RHOC star with a 6-carat diamond ring in Big Bear, California, during a family vacation.
Speaking to The Daily Dish just a month after she got engaged, Kirschenheiter shared that she and Mullen were taking their time in wedding planning and enjoying her time as a fiancée.
“I feel like I am enjoying this and don’t feel a sense of urgency,” she began. “I really feel like, you know, I found the right person and the right partner for me that I wanna be like my forever person, you know? And so, I don’t wanna rush it. Like, I want to enjoy it. I am really enjoying being in this lovey dovey, in my engagement era, you know? I wanna take a beat and I want to enjoy it,” the star shared.
