Emily Simpson attempted to discredit Katie Ginella’s alleged claims that Tamra Judge roofied Alexis Bellino through a lie detector test during a “RHOC” season 19 episode.
During the reunion, Ginella said, “I was set up.” Simpson retaliated by saying Ginella volunteered to take a lie detector test, and admitted that they weren’t accurate.
However, Simpson shared that she never collaborated with the test givers and had no input in Ginella’s results.
According to Ginella, she was nervous going into the scene, which contributed to the lie detector’s false results.
Ginella & Gina Kirschenheiter Make Amends
Gina Kirschenheiter introduced Ginella to the “RHOC” group, but the two had a falling out after the new housewife gossiped about Heather Dubrow.
Things further went awry when Kirchenheiter was accused of making offensive comments about Ginella’s race, such as her house smelling like kimchi.
During the reunions, the two seemingly resolved their differences when Kirschenheiter said, “That sounds horrifying to me. With that said, now me watching back and seeing that whatever I said, which was totally not meant to be malicious in any way, shape or form, but seeing that it triggered a trauma in you … and I am sorry for that.”
Ginella accepted her co-star’s apology and said, “It just seemed inappropriate to say at the time.” On talking to Kiki Monique, Ginella said, “Her and I were bonding over being people of color in this space, because it is predominantly not people of color.”
“To be the first Asian on ‘Orange County’ in 18 years means a lot to me,” Ginella told her castmates.
‘RHOC’ Fans Are Pro-Ginella

One shared on X during the reunion, “Katie Ginella reacting to the Fan Love — ‘I’m shocked and very pleasantly surprised by how much love I’m getting.’ Glad Andy asked Katie about how she felt receiving all the fan support because the cast treated Katie AWFULLY and the fans NEVER like a Gang-Up.”
Another posted, “@BravoTV please for the love of God, give us viewers an early Christmas present and fire Emily Simpson and renew Katie Ginella’s contract for the ultimate check mate.”
As for Ginella, she shared with Bravo prior to the season 19 reunion, “A lot of people have been messaging me, ‘Come with receipts! Come prepared!’ but my goal is not to take anybody down. My goal is not to expose something about somebody, because I was on the receiving of that last year, and it felt horrible, you know? I just hope I can move forward.”
