The August 28 episode from season 19 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” was a rough one for Katie Ginella. Not only did castmate Emily Simpson surprise her and the other ladies with a lie detector test, but the episode ended with Ginella being kicked out of the event. Now, she’s revealing where she stands with the ladies.
Ginella recently took to Instagram and allowed fans to ask questions. She stated, “I’ve got 30 minutes in the car. Ask me anything!” Ginella provided two responses regarding her status with the cast of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
First, a fan asked if she’s in touch with any of the ladies from the show. She responded, “Tamra Judge and I speak, and I’m very thankful.”ย
In another reply, the RHOC star replied to a fan who asked if any of her castmates had reached out after seeing the public support she has received. She responded, “No. But some housewives from other franchises have. And it’s very kind.”
Ginella Defends Herself in ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ Clip
Fans have been coming to Ginella’s defense since the airing of the most recent episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” Now, they’re also reacting to a clip of Ginella speaking to Jennifer Pedranti, where they discuss the lie detector test.
In the clip, the ladies are sitting down for lunch. Pedranti is confronting Ginella about failing the test. From there, Ginella provides evidence to support the person running the test being a “paid actor.” She went on to say she felt “set up” by Gina and Emily.ย
According to her, “Did you notice that every question was a setup?” Of course, they also discuss the situation with Gretchen Rossi, where Ginella defends her recounting of the story. Still, it seems the two ladies don’t end things on good terms as Pedranti says, “I’m sitting here lovingingly telling you it’s messy around you. At some point, there just is an accountability factor.
She May Not be on the Show for a While
As mentioned, Ginella has garnered considerable support from fans of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” However, a new report from OK! Magazine states that she may not be on the series for a while.
An insider told the outlet that the recent episode may be her “last appearance for a while on the show.” They continued, “Bravo felt that all of the women were coming for her and decided to remove her from the mix for a bit.”
They then said, “It was clear all of the women had planned to band together to take Katie down, and they ended up refusing to film with her.”
