Former “The Real Housewives of New York” stars Luann de Lesseps and Alex McCord have recently reunited in Australia and even went on to recreate one of the iconic moments from the reality television series. During a funny backstage moment, the pair celebrated their meeting with an hilarious TikTok video as they lip-synced to the original audio from the show almost 15 years after it aired on television.

The two reality stars met up in Brisbane, Australia while de Lesseps was in the country performing her cabaret show on an international tour. The city just so happens to be the location where McCord has spent the last 10 years and is currently living, giving them the perfect opportunity to reunite. It also provided Bravo fans with the opportunity to see McCord, who has largely kept out of the public eye since 2011.
During her performance, de Lesseps invited McCord on stage and the pair took part in a Q&A session with the audience. However, the real highlight of the reunion came in a backstage moment in the dressing room after the show when they re-enacted one of the most talked about moments in “Real Housewives” history for TikTok.
Lip-syncing and acting to audio taken directly from the season 4 episode, which aired in 2011, they performed the scene where de Lesseps criticized McCord’s choice of shoes.
“You came in, in your Herman Munster shoes,” said de Lesseps.
“They’re Louis Vuitton shoes,” McCord replied.
The video then ends with the infamous line from de Lesseps, “Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes.”
Fans were understandably happy to see the pair interacting together, especially in such a funny way.
“Ok collab of the century,” a commentator wrote.
“This heals something in me,” wrote another.
“This makes me extremely happy,” read a different comment.

While there has been plenty of hope from fans that the cast of “The Real Housewives of New York” might return to Bravo, no series has ever materialised.
However, a large chunk of the cast are set to return to television screens as part of a new reality series on the E! Network.
Ramona Singer first reported the news on social media, announcing that former co-stars Sonja Morgan, Jill Zarin, de Lesseps, and Kelly Bensimon would be joining her.
E! later confirmed the story and announced that the show is titled “The Golden Life” and will focus on the lives of the cast living in Palm Beach.
