“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” father Mauricio Umansky confirmed his relationship status in November 2025 following his photo shoot as the face of ARI, while he continues to navigate his separation from Kyle Richards.
Umansky’s ‘Single’ & ‘Dating’ Era
Photos dropped of Umansky as the new face of ARI for the lifestyle brand’s highly anticipated 2026 campaign. This campaign launched on Tuesday, November 18, which came approximately two years after his split from Richards went public in July 2023, following 27 years of marriage.
“Isn’t it sometimes better for people to be wondering whose hands they are?” he said in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, in reference to one of the photos taken for the campaign. In the photo, Umansky looks into the camera while standing with his hands in his pockets as multiple arms off camera rip the black button-up shirt and matching jacket from his body.
“How long have I been separated? Two years, two and a half years, plus or minus. I was not counting — but I’m still in the era of being single,” Umansky said, explaining that he’s “alone,” “single,” and “dating.” He continued, “I guess that’s my era.”
“I’m in my 50s, so I’m not trying to be a 20-year-old sexy man,” he said, referring to his photo shoot. “But it’s edgy and sexy… I’ve got a high heel in my face with a leg! I’ve got two girls, one pouring me a drink and one lighting my cigar. It definitely has some lifestyle, and it has some edge.”
“I’m used to it between all of whatever we’ve done, 15 seasons of ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’… ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ all of that stuff, so I’m certainly used to it,” Umansky joked, referring to people on social media sending him private messages.
“I’m not a guy that flocks to the DMs,” he said. “They’re there. People can send them, but I can’t guarantee you I’m going to look at it or respond.”
“Keep them guessing!” Umansky teased.
Richards Reacts to Umansky’s Photo Shoot & Dating Life
According to Umansky, Richards “loved” the photo shoot, citing a group chat in which she referred to the images as “great.”
“You look amazing,” she wrote to Umansky, adding that “the best” photo was the one of him holding a drink and a cigar.
“We’re still super good friends,” Umansky said about Richards.
She addressed her relationship with Umansky during BravoCon 2025, saying they were each “allowed to do whatever” they wanted when it came to seeing other people.
“We live separate lives,” Richards said during the “Livin’ in Beverly Hills” panel. “But, um, of course, I think we’ve seen Mauricio dating.”
“It’s like, you know, we don’t really want to know. And I can just look at TMZ and find out anyway,” she joked. “It’s just a given, but we are really grateful that we really love and care about each other enough that we put our children and our family first, and we’re able to go about this separation in a very amicable, loving way.”
