Paris Hilton took time out of her busy schedule to honor her mom and dad, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kathy Hilton and Richard Hilton, on their 46th wedding anniversary on Nov. 24. Not only does it mark a milestone anniversary for the famous couple, but it’s certainly a rare milestone in Hollywood these days.
To celebrate her parents’ devotion to one another, Paris shared a rare, throwback video of the couple celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary in 1999. In the video, Kathy stands by Rick’s side as he delivers a touching tribute to his wife.

GettyParis Hilton marked her parents, Kathy and Rick Hilton’s 46th wedding anniversary with a touching post on Instagram on Nov. 24. The socialite shared a video of her “dad’s toast to my mom on their 20th anniversary,” which she shared occurred in 1999.
In the video, Rick is seen speaking to Kathy as they mark their 20th wedding anniversary with friends and family with a toast.
“A little over 20 years ago, Kathy’s mother she said to me, ‘You know who you’re about to marry?’ And I said, ‘Who’s that?’ She said ‘It’s Lucille Ball,” he began. “And I knew Kathy had a great sense of humor, I knew she was absolutely knockout gorgeous, and I also thought she was very bright.”
“But myself, not being an idiot about it, I said, you know, this is a catch, and I’d better close this deal,” he continued, getting more laughs. “And looking back over the last 20 years, I must say not only are you funny like Lucille Ball, gorgeous beyond belief, and smarter than most people I’ve ever met, but you’ve been just a fantastic wife, you are a great mother to our four children, you are a great lover to me, but I think also something very important, is that Kathy is my best friend … I’m looking forward to the next 20.”
In Paris’ caption of her parents’ sweet video, she shared, “Happy 46th Anniversary to my amazing mom and dad @KathyHilton and @RickHilton7 💕🥹 Watching your love over the years has shaped so much of who I am 🥰Growing up surrounded by your kindness, support, and devotion is one of the greatest gifts of my life 💖”

Kathy Hilton Reveals Her Secrets to Her Marriage Success
GettyKathy and Rick Hilton’s successful marriage is a rarity in Hollywood. They are among a few stars who have maintained a strong, lasting relationship while raising a family in the spotlight.
During a conversation with Page Six in December 2024, Kathy was asked the secret to their enduring commitment to one another for the past 45 years as a married couple.
“I think just respect and honesty, and if you’re sad about something, you talk about it right away,” she told the outlet. “Keeping the right influences, like the right couples around, and also keeping a little mystery, and never go to bed upset,” she added.
Earlier that same year, she told People another great reason why her marriage is so strong: “We have not been away from each other for two weeks in [all our] years of marriage,” adding, “I don’t think you go to bed without saying, ‘I love you,’ and giving each other a kiss and never in a fight or anything.”
Kathy and Rick wed in 1979, when she was 20, but in her interview with Page Six, she shared that she had been with her husband when she was 15, and he was 19. The couple welcomed four children, Paris Hilton (1981), Nicky Hilton (1983), Barron Hilton II (1989), and Conrad Hughes Hilton (1994).
