“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” OG, Kyle Richards, recently gave fans a peek under the brim of her next business venture, and let’s just say it’s a perfect fit.
During her last Amazon Live stream, in between showcasing her newest favorite clothing accessories and home goods, Kyle told viewers that she’s moving closer to launching a hat line. To the point that she even opted for a front-row seat to learn the full design process, pick out material, and understand the art of millinery.
And for those who’ve been watching “RHOBH” since the beginning, this hardly comes as a surprise.

After buying a hat, which ranges from $350 to $1,595, shoppers can then customize it with their initials or even opt to distress it by lighting it on fire. Naturally, after dropping that much cash on their new purchase, the idea of setting it on fire is a bit scary. But, hey, it’s all in the name of fashion!
Her Love of Hats Is Genetic
Emma McIntyre/Getty ImagesKyle’s love of hats can actually be traced back to her own mother, who had a similar affinity for headwear. And because of that fashionable trait, this mom of four has rocked pretty much every hat imaginable during her long-running tenure on “RHOBH.” But it’s the classic cowboy style that won her heart.
But wearing a cowboy hat on her head wasn’t enough for Kyle. So, in 2024, she added to her growing tattoo collection by getting a cowboy hat tattoo! Luckily, a tattoo goes with any outfit, because this is one accessory she can never take off.
The Next Step

Her youngest daughter, Portia Umansky, will be off to college soon, and then she’ll be a true empty nester with a lot of hours to fill. And while she has a lengthy background in front of the camera, her latest venture may very well find her wading into the wild world of textiles.
