Harry Jowsey Shuts Down Fake Marriage Rumors Following His On-Screen Wedding

Reality TV star, Harry Jowsey, 29, is shutting down rumors that his on-screen marriage to Amber Mozo is fake. The two tied the knot on the final episode of “Let’s Marry Harry,” a reality show centered around Jowsey’s search for love after a history of high-profile public relationships that did not last. Throughout the series, viewers watched Jowsey navigate relationships with multiple women while trying to determine who he seems himself developing a life long connection with.

Jowsey, the “Too Hot to Handle,” “Perfect Match,” and “DWTS” alum feels that he is ready to settle down and start a family. The loss of his father “was obviously the biggest turning point,” he said, prompting him to move forward with plans for a family of his own. His desire for a more serious relationship became a key factor of the show – especially when it came to how he pictured his life beyond his reality TV career.

After dating 20 women at once in hopes to find his forever person, Jowsey ultimately formed a connection with 31-year-old travel photographer, Amber Mozo, which he then married. Despite the public’s opinions, Jowsey defended his marriage, claiming it was not fake.

The Two Did Not Legally Bind Their Marriage

Reasons for speculations differed, but most stemmed largely from the fact that Jowsey and Mozo did not legally marry during the show, with no marriage licenses filed in the location where they filmed, per TMZ.

That information raised concerns for many, leaving room for speculations that the marriage was staged solely for entertainment purposes, and had no personal basis. Because the wedding was a major moment in the show’s finale, questions about whether it was a real marriage quickly became part of the conversation surrounding the pair. Jowsey was quick to shut those rumors down.

In a TikTok posted on Aug. 16, Jowsey explained that Netflix “held onto the paperwork” and kept the marriage documents from being finalzied, due to potential spoiler concerns. He mentioned how he and Mozo signed the marriage paperwork, but that it remained unable to be submitted until after the reunion, which airs Aug. 26.

Later in the video, Jowsey explained that if the two were to go ahead and get legally married during filming, then “all the money, all the time, everything they invested in the show would’ve been for nothing because it would have been ruined” and viewers “wouldn’t have watched the show.”

Jowsey also claims that since he has never been married before, he has no idea how a wedding is supposed to work, arguing that he is not familiar with all that goes into having a wedding. His comments were made as viewers continued to question how much of the televised ceremony reflected the couple’s actual plans.

So What’s The Verdict?

Although the pair said “I do” at the altar, they remain legally unmarried for the sake of production. Viewers will find out during the reunion whether or not the couple plans to make their marriage official. Until then, the status of their relationship remains a major question for fans who followed their journey throughout the show.

Jowsey urges viewers to tune in to the reunion to see if the marriage certificate “gets submitted, or [if] it gets torn up,” but that in the meantime, making speculations based off of production rules and regulations is meaningless. For now, viewers will have to wait until the reunion airs to learn what comes next for Jowsey and Mozo.
