What began as a larger group has now narrowed to 11. Season 4 of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” saw two more celebrity recruits call it quits during the October 23 episode, following several days of intense military-style training. After waking up on day five, many of the remaining contenders admitted they were reaching their physical and emotional limits.

According to E! Online, Nick Young immediately expressed his pain. “Look at my knee swollen and f–ked up,” Young said. “I’m gonna be out for a month.” Actor Ravi V. Patel shared a similar struggle. “I’m in pain today,” Patel said. Model Chanel Iman added, “I’ve never felt so old in my life. Can’t keep up.”
Directors Push to Separate the Strong From the Struggling

The directing staff decided it was time to raise the pressure. Jason Fox explained, “There’s certain people on the course who have gone their distance, and if we don’t weed the weaker members out, it’s going to start bringing the rest of the course down.”
Mark Billingham added, “We need to go into another gear. Let’s ramp it up.”
With that shift in tone, the remaining 13 recruits were called together and confronted with a tough choice.
The Ultimatum That Ended Two Journeys

Rudy Reyes issued a final, blunt challenge. “Ask yourselves, do you really want to be here?” Reyes said. “Because you are going to push yourselves far beyond any place you’ve ever been. Athletics, showbiz, all of that, that’s kindergarten compared to the pressure and responsibility of Special Forces.”
He continued, “If any one of you has any doubt that they do not want to be on this course, that they are not here to train at a hundred percent of their ability, stand up right here and turn in that armband.”
Young stood up first and removed his band. “I’m ready to go,” he said. Patel followed without hesitation. Neither offered further explanation before leaving camp.

This TV show really irks me. They are doing too much for a couple of dollars. Not even worth it in my opinion. Not proving anything either. “Survivor” started all of this. 🙄
